It's really a shame that Mercy gets her Mythic skin at the peak of her uselessness. I have always enjoyed Mercy and I guess you could say I mained her along with Ana but now it feels like picking her is choosing to lose. If they don't want her to be able to heal they had better rework her to deal a reasonable amount of damage herself to keep up with other supports. To call this disappointing is a massive understatement.
i hate that they didnt give her ultimate a unique voiceline or sound like for other skins

3:55 Moments like these sort of annoy me when I play Mercy. You GA to your Kiriko, you're in full view on her screen, 30 health, fully critical right in front of her. She doesn't even slightly turn her camera to look at you, doesn't heal you at all, and TPs away and leaves you "to rot" as Skiesti would say. PSA: Supports, heal your other Support some times. You'd be surprised at how often it's the correct move in a team fight.
Edit: Also Elezhau managed to heal herself for about 40~45 hp from Sympathetic Recovery off healing the Kiriko. Which means she probably saved the Kiriko's life and healed her for about 110~120.
felt, i’ve been having second supports with no awareness lately. i’ll get in their line of sight, fly to them, and the other support decides to push in and dps instead of healing. it’s really annoying when we’re the only two left alive, i’ll heal them and try to help them get out, they decide to keep fighting instead of healing me as well so we can regroup then we both end up staggering because of it.
Seriously and besides the other support not healing you its annoying when your being hunted all game and you’re DPS and tank have no awareness to help protect you
bruh, she was i a 1v1 a kiriko who landed a headshot on her. they were getting dived by a tank and a support that managed to push eley out of the fight, eitheer on of them dies or both of them die, it was a splt second decision and ultimately kiri made the right choice by getting out herself. the dive w ball and kiri was just the better play that won them the fight bc ball was able to boop her out of los for a split second. supports in t500 know to heal their other support or else they wouldnt be in t500 lol and even they make mistakes sometimes. its harder to survive as support rn and mercy is terrible atm. kiri healed her the entire time the enemy mercy pistoled her and even used her suzu to save her and another time after that too. eley needs to stay near her other support if she wants the healing and it sucks bc she cant afford to do that a lot of the time bc she has to fly to help her team. the other support has a job too and offers much more utiity to her team than mercy so thus she focuses more on her team..

i’ve quit mercy which is unthinkable to me. i played her for 5 years straight and never got bored once but her state rn… i can’t, having lots of fun on illiari at the moment. i am hoping that they full rework her because i fear that there’s no saving her

I love Mercy and sometimes she can still work, but I often have to switch to Kiriko/Zen/Lifeweaver for most of the match 😢 you would think she would be better this season since her mythic is the one featured… hope they do something soon
It's amazing how Blizzard is ignoring mercy and other characters that really need some good buffs, but hey, Blizzard doing things backwards as they have always done 🤡

Yall need to thank dem streamers who was complaining sm about support heals being too strong. Now we got that dps passive and mercy feels awful.
To the video talking about triage healing. I wish she could have a new part of her kit that let her “charge” a res or “charge” a heal burst. Like if you switch to dmg boost it’ll use a full charge so you can use it on a crit ally like “I’m giving you one last chance!”
I mean mercy was considered “not good”since her valkyrie ult rework but NOW she is waaaayyy waaayy worse than before bcuz of the dps passive buff she literally can’t keep up with heals and only became a dmg boost bot for dps heroes (which i hate very very much cause she can do much more than that) also her passive healing if u think about it during valkryie is pretty much nonexistent so her survivability became hindered and she can’t even make a high risk rez properly like she could’ve done before the dps passive buff during her ult
i fear a buff isn’t enough to make mercy good again :/

Buffing her healing is so tricky, it can go through barriers and can't miss so when a Mercy outheals your damage it just feels frustrating af. It felt awful when it looked like you ALMOST had someone only for the healing buff to kick in and suddenly you can't finish the target off with no effort from Mercy's side who literally didn't have to do anything. If they buff her healing I would rather see a general beam buff than the old triage mess.
I mean, Mercy is a short-range healer, so her healing through barriers makes up for her lack of range. She often has to fly into danger to heal people. Meanwhile, there are healers like Weaver, Zenyatta and Brig that also have heals that "can't miss", but they can heal from damn near across the map. All of these characters can heal a low HP target and with seemingly no effort, just like Mercy. Yet you aren't complaining about them? Plus, Mercy has no utility and her heals aren't good. If you focus whoever she's healing, they'll die. Just learn to aim and focus targets and Mercy literally becomes useless. That's Mercy's downside, her healing is stagnant. She has no burst heal, invuln or any sort of ability that can save her teammate if they take more damage than she can outheal. She has nothing that can turn a fight around, unlike Weaver or Zen. I definitely agree with you about triage, though. While it was fun to use as Mercy, it was so busted lol I'd honestly just like to see a full rework of Mercy. Remove rezz, and just give her some other ability that can give her utility.

i agree on triage healing being too strong- i made a comment earlier saying something similar so i'm glad to see someone feels the same way. even from a mercy POV i couldnt help but be frustrated for the enemy team sometimes ^

I started to play Mercy quite recently because of you and I actually improved, but seeing how many people struggle it is making me switch off from Mercy since she can´t outheal the damage, or whatever I do, my team dies which is frustrating me..I hope they will fix this issue in the future
i feel like the only way to make a good impact on mercy nowadays is through insanely good movement/staying alive and contesting the objective... other than that it feels like i'm doing absolutely nothing at times 😣😣
@@iiKatzen even i try to heal my mates and stay the last man standing, i feel the team mates arent aware that i cant rush into enemy team and supposedly heal them over there :/ I believe I will improve with my movement but other than that i hope they will do something about this "issue"
My favorite thing while i am playing is screaming to my team "Kill Mercy!!" and die right after it from Widow, and scream "Not this one!"
Been also on a nasty losing streak. I don't play Mercy though, I play Brig and Bap.
either bring back the buffed healing when they’re lower than 50% or some type of ramped healing that starts high no matter what and then slows to around what it is now. maybe even bring back old damage boost tbh. i dont mind how long ga is even tho it’s annoying it’s just learning to position better and the rez cooldown is fine but my god her healing needs a buff
Triage healing sucks to play against - i remember many times where i was healing someone and felt pretty frustrated on the enemy team's behalf because it seemed so annoying to deal with. especially for winston lol
While i don't think mercy should have it all the time, i think an argument could be made for adding it to valkyrie since the ult doesnt last forever.
(I do think the real issue is that kiriko and mayyybe bap should have been nerfed instead of the entire support roster. but i could be wrong.)
You play Mercy so well. I really wish I could move so fluidly like that, but I struggle elevating correctly when it gets hectic.

Blizzard need to tweak her seriously. Giving us a mythic skin when she is so hard to play well is a real slap in the face. The only time my team's ever appreciate her on the team is when I clutch a good rez. I am so tired of being told to swap. I really don't like the other supports as much as I do her.
Real heroes pick their favorites and try their best to win no matter the meta! Remember to always do your best even if you are in the jaws of defeat!
i really hate the fact that mercy consistently keeps getting legendary skins and now a mythic skin with this season but no buffs or reworks to her kit. it really feel likes playing mercy has little to no impact and a rework focusing more on her healing/movement/increased damage would make her so much more fun to play!! 😢

What did I miss, why did mercy suddenly receive so much hate in season ten, toward the hero it self. Just this month I received 5, right in the beginning of the game, no mercy. Picking mercy, “you are trolling”. Doing absolute everything”we don’t need a mercy” people lost games “because we have a mercy and mercy got dived” just what 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ or hearing comments like people picking mercy are throwing, people who pick it are brainless.

Seriously 15% dps passive was perfect cause it lifted so much weight off of support shoulders to actually do their jobs there was no reason at all to bring it back to 20. Would be a good excuse to bring back triage tho you’re right
I think what would make Mercy at least good to play, could be increasing Mercy base healing from 55 to 60 and valk from 60 to 65, and also increase the speed of tick per second of the healing.

Personally I think Valk should ignore the DPS debuff and have the ult cost reduced by 5%... It isn't much, but it would make Mercy so much stronger! I think Zen's ult should ignore the debuff too.

No one is forcing you to play mercy. "Favorite hero" or not, if you're on a losing streak even when trying, switch. Otherwise you're just being one of those detrimental mercy one-tricks that everyone complains about.

They have a locked account, we can't know for sure if they are actually a mercy one trick. It's possible they just play mercy to make videos, her movement is super sloppy for being masters/top 500.
