I really like how different you are from other streamers on critique videos, you’re a lot more encouraging and genuinely seem like you want to help. Your reactions are really fun! I don’t feel like a little kid being yelled at by a parent unlike the other streamers I watch lmao

YOOO THATS ME! I wish I saw this live I had work that day. Thank you for your review I am now in plat 2 again on my way to diamond hopefully. I've been using your critiques and I've definitely improved.

Mercy should have pocketed Soldier a lot more. The hero is generally a better and safer pocket target than Genji, and trying to pocket Genji put her out of position too much. Visor should definitely be prioritized to pocket almost always. This Mercy has very good movement, but she is using her movement as positioning, instead of for positioning. Since slingshot/SJ has a 3 second cooldown, it is really important to not waste it too much. That will get punished at higher ranks very quickly. It is ok to stay in one location for periods of time as long as it's safe and you are ready to fly at any moment. It's also important to accept that some teammates can just not always be saved or res'd. Your life as a support is more valuable. Especially when the teammate in question has been feeding. I think this Mercy can definitely climb back up with some simple adjustments like exercising more caution/restraint and target priority. It also helps to be comfortable on at least 1 other support for situations where your team comp is just not great for pocketing anyone, or your teammates just can't finish kills even with damage boost. I recommend Kiriko.

I love that in the submission post the player wasn't blaming anyone else, and genuinly wants to improve. I like those kinds of people.

my advice from a gm support is def prioritize your pocket targets. don’t go in the enemy backline with tracer as you’re a huge target. Pocket soldier instead and get more value. Your movement is great actually, you just need to work a bit more with positioning. The best thing about mercy is she can fly and she has pretty solid movement so always play cover so the enemy can’t get you. but also don’t rely on mercy only to climb. Learn other supports. Mercy does not work in every situation when it comes to metal ranks even in high ranks, too. She’s very team dependent and if you’re dps are not doing their job, she has no value at all. sometimes it helps to have extra dmg on your team when your dps aren’t performing. overall, you did a great job.

The two trees and dragon in one spot was an interesting sight

Really solid movement and understanding of enemy sightlines just from watching to the 3 minute mark.

As a low diamond Mercy, I'd say yes the movement is good. Good blue beam targets. What sticks out most to me is the positioning. Pretty much all of what emongg already said lol. I would try to find safer places to beam your allies from. I'm always looking for off angles on the high ground. Good looking gameplay though!

Omg rein v rein under the 2 trees with a dragon in the middle was amazing 😆

Honestly the thing that massively improved my mercy gameplay was playing mercy parkour on colosseo. I talked with other players and learned how much maneuverability she actually has. Also mercy is a great character in my opinion to up your sensitivity on.

  • @namixless9732

as a mercy main the biggest issue i see alot with climbing is that you kind of have to depend on your teammates. if your team cant preform it doesnt matter how much you heal or damage boost :/

  • @KilomiRayven

As a player that like to play a lot of rein, the most annoying thing is going against a rein with any support pocket, but dmg boost mercy and lucio have to be the worst. For the simple fact that you know that could be you and you could be the one having fun instead of getting wrecked.

  • @catdaddie3569

im enjoying all of the mercy content recently!!! im curious if this mercy was duo'd with the genji or the genji was aggressively asking for heals/damage boost and thats why she was making some questionable decisions

  • @jonathaniraheta1586

Mercy didn’t even say thank you. As a mercy main, I always say thanks when I’m saved. ESPECIALLY WHEN ITS THAT CLOSE.

  • @cookiedoodle5582

That's some really great movement. Very satisfying to watch.

  • @keyzze6068

i play mercy a LOT i learned pretty quickly that some heroes are just not followable. Tracer is one of those heroes. As much as it is tempting to dmg boost such a good character, it's just not worth the dangerous positions she will inevitably bring and leave you to die in. that being said, the very last point on this map is great for the highground and easy cover tracer can utilize

  • @animediva7397

They're description is also similar to what I dealt with. I reached diamond for the first time as Mercy and I lost 15 games and now I'm back to plat again

  • @doublec2925

a huge help as well is to stop looking at your beam target all the time u can still beam them and look around
