The tour/road manager seems like a really tough job they should definitely get paid more. They also put themselves at risk driving the idols around and all these crazy fans who run up to the vehicles and stuff. I wonder about the security guards sometimes, too. They have a scary and tough job at times. I notice that even when idols are in groups they have their own personal manager I always wondered why that was. I know each company also has their own resident choreographers, producers, etc. I would love to be a stylist or choreographer for a company or group although I’m sure it’s tough work.
@kai_STAY They get paid around 28,700 USD which is pretty less as average salary of Korea is 48,000+ USD. And times are changing though there are big companies who have resident choreographers they're professionals who have been in the industry for long, they don't take in freshers. As I said the time is changing so now labels approach different crews and choreographers and ask them to make a choreo for a song they'll be sent and then the label at times take few parts from each team and make a choreo through that. The choreographers whose choreo gets picked are paid while the rest aren't so even if you did spend time on making a choreo you won't be paid if it ain't chosen.

So a lot of the things you were saying seems to be fitted with either huge companies such as SM and YG or just companies that are known to have issues with idols “debt”/ money like TS ent. I bring up SM and YG because these two companies have inside producers as well and don’t really give idols a say a lot when it comes to being creative with their music despite most of their idols wanting to be involved. Same with the choreography, then we have companies like TS ent who have issues with paying their idols barely anything and basically robbing their idols of their money. But then we have huge companies like again SM and YG that probably and most likely do have a financial/ accounting department with in their company to keep track of everything However there are also companies that don’t match these areas. Such as Cube and PLEDIS whom allow their artist the creative freedom while having a set producer. PLEDIS has bumzu but yet nuest members, woozi, yehana and Sungyeon do their own music. I’m not sure if Cube has a set producer tho. But cube is big enough to have a financial department. And PLEDIS is just starting expand and starting to hire ; they recently opened up a lot of positions up for hire.

Hi, i just wanted to know if foreigners allowed to work multiple jobs there. Example i have a contract there from a private employer then i work as a freelance makeup artist would that be fine? Some people misunderstood my passion for makeup they thought im only after kpop idols when its not. I really love to work backstage specially fashion runaway photoshoots etc. As a foreigner i heard there is a license for makeup artist. If i pass that licensure wouldn't be that a conflict from my fix job? Thank you~
I miss Idol Insider ❤️🙏🏻
