I stumbled upon your channel by chance, and I love your energy so much, you’re like an older sister that I never had~ I relate so much to the introverted “I don’t wanna meet new people” mindset. when I heard you say “translator” I nearly jumped out of my seat, since my channel is literally focused on translations and I’ve been interpreting/translating for both video content and written works on the side for quite a while - albeit mostly Mandarin to English, my Korean is horrendous, haha :) I studied journalism for multiple years and work in several publications now, so I just thought it would be helpful to have interpretation on my resume, I never really thought about the possibility of pursuing a career in it. this was such an insightful video; I actually didn’t know that event venues outsourced interpreters from concert management companies, I’ve always assumed that most groups had people on staff who could help if they ever went on tour overseas. I definitely learned a lot about how everything works onsite at venues, and hey, now I have another option for employment to fall back on if needed, although I can’t imagine how much stress there would be working in the entertainment industry 24/7. thank you for sharing your experiences!! take care :)

I used to work on an exo fansite waaaay back in the day and I remember one time someone who called themselves (or we assumed) was a manager commented on our site thanking us for buying the boys icecream or something. But it wasn't our fansite that did that xD but i wonder if it had anything to do with them going to kcon in 2012.
Oh yes! Back at Kcon 2012, we went to eat at a restaurant after rehearsals, and a group of girls did send a few ice cream orders to our table for everyone to eat! That's probably what the manager was referring to.

I noticed you've turned off the comments for the vid about rude kpop idols. If you've receuved backlash on that, remember, those who did are just immature fans. Anyway, there actually a lot of clips where idols are being rude to each other which just proves what you shared. What's worse with these idols is they think they're above anyone when there are working professionals who earn better than them. It's just that they get material perks from their popularity but they are never far from an ordinary individual. Hope you're doing well now after that experience you had while working in the K industry. Remember, you can do so much more than that job. It's not worth it. God bless :)
