@@knicks5426 well diesel engines tend to have more torque because of their stroke length and higher compression, so the correlation between it sounding like a diesel and it probably having higher torque seems pretty obvious. It's still just an assumption, but having a basic knowledge of engines makes it a likely one. It's probably just a longer stroke and higher compression than previous generations of f1 engines.

@@Mitty888 all engines should be warmed up. Its not the engine oil that needs warmed up its the tolerances and let all the differentent types of metals warm up to factory specs

You shouldn’t anyway. You should press the button twice to turn your car on and let the fuel rail prime before you start your engine. Just one more small thing you can do to make your car happier for longer.

Can’t count the number of people who cold crank an engine, immediately ram the car in to drive and then put their boot down. Makes me cringe.
@@ebrente yeah pretty sure it turns the fuel system on when you open your door as you can hear the pump going, still low mileage at the moment so it might get worse as it gets over 100,000 but yeah frustrated me seeing smoke bellowing out the back of any car due to them not letting their engine oil heat up to protect the engine.
