Hart is made for Walmart by TTI who also makes Ryobi for Home Depot and the Milwaukee and Hoover brands. So, in all likelihood they're good value engineered (good bang for the buck) tools made for Walmart.
True, although this is basically the vac master clone and has all of the same parts. Sadly the vac master was horrible with the canister busting. It’s no from me.
May be from the same manufacturer however there are huge differences in build quality and durability between heart, Ryobi, Hoover, and especially Milwaukee. Think of the brands as cuts of meat from the same cow. There are different qualities and not everything is equal.
I personally use this and I really gotta say It's worth every penny. They could easily retail this for $199 and still have people saying its a good extractor. I also love how you can turn the vacuum and water on from the handle, it super convenient. Great video, super informative!
It was good for me for the first month but after that it stoped spraying and it’s wayyy to bulky …. Definitely has a lot of suction but too much time trying to fix the clogging issue other than those two things it’s really good especially when you can turn everything off by the Handle
They're close to it now, $179 and out of stock. Probably will be $200 when they are available again. I agree with Kmaino, may as well spend the difference and get the Vacmaster for $210.
I use the size 1 and 1/0 Mustad hooks to freeline for snook ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxzXmlErSqVAEGWFEKO530BvTqFDw53QW3 and they have been fantastic. The points are super sharp, and the hook is small enough to blend with my baitfish, yet large enough to land fish 30" or more. I also use these hooks when I'm pier or surf fishing with my kids. They tend to catch tons of smaller snapper, whiting, and catfish, and we get far fewer gut hooks with these Mustad in-lines, which means more of them survive after release. I was actually using these hooks when I caught my friend too, but I think that had more to do with the bait I was using ;-)
I've had mine for nearly 6 months now...it's been holding up quite well...durability-wise. I have done at least 100 details with this machine. and for what you get for 65 bucks you can't beat it. I will upgrade, but I may do so before next detail season rolls around.
I’ve done a couple details with this and the suction is great, the downfalls are the size of the extractor head, and the fact that it doesn’t have a trigger to expel the water into the carpet. You can push the button to turn on and off but it doesn’t start and stop immediately like a traditional extractor would. But for $65, it’s something I could work with for a while. I would recommend this for hobbyist or weekend warriors, but not for professional detailers.
Yea i agree with the water injection. The head is not too bad. Just slightly bigger than the mytee but the while trigger seems longer which can make it a tough fit.
People don't realize you can make any extractor work no matter the cost, the great results come from how you prep your carpet and the kind of chemicals and brushes you use. Great review.
Wow I just picked up one (the ONLY one sitting on the shelf lol) because I just happened to go for some other stuff. i love that these were only available for a limited time but souly because of this video making so many people including myself wanting one there trying to bring them back. love hart
I have a Bissell Canister Style carpet extractor from 1990. A friend bought it new then I got about 20 years ago when he found doing his carpets was too hard form him in his 80s. He an I both flushed warm water through the system after using the formula for cleaning. Never leaving solution in the system. You wouldn't leave paint in your paint sprayer you flush it out same with carpet cleaners.
I bought a day or 2 after black Friday for $65, I have an aqua pro already but my top cover broke and it was like $75 so I decided to buy the hart and it works better than what I tough and better than bissell pro That I do have as well, the downside of the bissell is the suction is bad you have to do multiple passes spend a lot of time to get it decent dry and hose is too short and the Hart leave seats and carpet like 90% dry it has a lot suction power. Downside of the hart size if you are short in space and the hand is too big but you get used to it quick and work it around, I can also recommend a hart vacuum 8g 6hp for like $60- 70 (looks just like this extractor) way better than the ridgid every detailer uses! I work with both as a set everyday and I have no complains at all!!
Overall is the performance the same or ( outside of spray pressure ) as the Aqua Pro vac ? I ended up with a Mytee unit but just curious if the 3-1 is comparable to the Aqua pro. Thanks
@@AmirAbdullah the actual sprayer for the hart is good bc spray just enough, the aqua pro sprayer I think sprays too much water and makes you do more passes but suction is the same on Hart and Aqua Pro! The advantage that aqua pro has is that the handle is more comfortable than the hart in my opinion just the handle.
I just purchased a bissell and am not impressed by the suction, I was thinking of buying the aqua pro but if this machine is comparable I am willing to try it out. If the only downside is the handle comfort that seems fair for the price difference. Thanks.
Bought the Hart shop vac at Wally World months ago online price was such a deal! went to the store even though the price tag was at the normal price I scanned on my phone heck yah! it scanned at the online price! I went ahead and bought all they had at under $50 bucks, Giving them away to family on Christmas!
in the professional upholstery cleaning field, we call it a continuous flow. with that said, we are typically dealing with much more suction so id be careful for overwetting
@@ap5139 this looks very promising however I haven't used it. You just want to be careful of over wetting. If your looking for a more professional one on a budget you can look for a used ez spot portable extractor. But for just personal use a home I would definitely like to try the one in this video.
The only downfall that I see over the bissell is the size of the suction head, I don’t think it’s going to fit in smaller areas or maybe under the seat, I only detail my own cars so the bissell works for me, thanks Josh, great review 👍😁
Also the hose is too short sometimes with bigger vehicles you need to put it inside the car to use it! and the suction power is not good! I have both unit and the hart overpass it on power! Just the handle is a little big but you can work around that!
Man I wish I did extra research on budget extractors, for home use, I got the little Hoover spot extractor. Maybe you could have been a little more honest with us and just said, "they are all out of stock because I bought 3 of them" haha Kinda like people on FB complaining the stores are all out of toilet paper, scroll up their page to just 3 days ago and they posted a selfie with 700 rolls of toilet paper stashed in their attic. 🤣
Never used an extractor but I’m kinda thinking that you can’t use the extender wile extracting. Just for the vacuum. Am I right? I’d be using one for a Pontoon Boat. If you can’t, that would be a whole lot of crawling for someone with wonkey knees.
They are sold out I can't find them anywhere even the rep told me he didn't know they're always in Walmart but don't know when they would get them back
I know people are building their own extractor, I know this is now $179, I still think it’s cheaper than building your own, am I wrong?
Hey which carpet/upholstry vacuum machine would you recommend now for a decent price?
$179 as of 4/28/2023...
