As they themselves sing, they are the sum of these pieces. And the perfect metal puzzle picture does these pieces make! All glory to LOVEBITES and all my brothers and sisters of The Wolf Pack everywhere!
I will never get tired of this band. The hole concert at ZEPPDIVER CITY is FENOMENAL. Almost 2 hours of METAL highpoints. Love your channel. Metal love from Sweden.
Your English is great, but it's whole and phenomenal, the rest is spot on though. I apologize if I look like a jerk, that's not my intention. I just thought you might want to know.
@@morganolsson1993 Hi guys this is not a spelling competition, we are here for the (musiken) music. When you headbanging it`s hard to spell right, but i will do my best to be FENOMENAL......:):):):)
Thanks for coming back to Lovebites. Yes, at the end of one of their concerts, I would be exhausted just from watching. No idea how they do it. Keep rocking!
Edge of the world, Break the wall, Shadowmaker studio, live. Burden of time, live studio. All great songs. Yes this is the opening song of this show. This song they wear their jackets, but then take them off. I love their jackets. Wait until you hear Winds of Trannsylvannia, Midori the blond guitarist works a Floydrose tremolo, like no other, squeals, bombs. And Miyako blasts tapping runs. You may love Scream for me, live studio, and Burden of time, live studio. Both from first album re-recorded back in October for anniversary. Great taking them in in normal clothes, close up. Miyako plays Dean guitars, and a Les Paul. Nemophila another great band. Song Dissension live. Incredible .
I'm glad you back with Lovebites, they're one of my favorite bands. One of my favorite quotes from Lovebites: "We're not here to be cute, we're here to be heavy"
I hear you on missing live concerts. I miss that slightly-nervous anticipation of knowing the performers you paid to see are about to take the stage, that swell of energy of when the lights go down and you know it's time . . . ah, I love it. Basic gear breakdown for this song: Miyako is playing a Dean USA Icon through a Peavey 6505+ amp and an Orange cab. Midori is playing an ESP E-II Horizon FR through a Kemper amp/profiler and Marshall cab. Miho is playing an ESP Amaze through a Darkglass Electronics combo. Haruna plays Pearl and Sabian. Oh, and you asked about Miyako's wah pedal. She uses the Dunlop J95 John Petrucci Cry Baby.
❤🥰🤘LOVEBITES 5 Beautiful, Goddess ❤🥰🤘 Your channel is the only one, I don't mind the pauses even on their solos lol. because i love your take on the little details on LOVEBITES songs. Beautiful job ✌ Yes, this song is beginning of the concert almost 1 hour and 45 mins 19 songs, I have this concert on Blu-ray version. Stay safe and stay metal Cheers ✌
Wave......you keep doing all the music I like ! Check out Miyako, in a band called, " Sonic Lover Reckless ", she played all the guitar parts including bass. The song is called, " Phoenix ".
Man, Wave! I never even noticed Midori's quick whammy bar use at the start of her solo, and I have seen this many times. I have not seen any other musician mention it either. Good catch.
IMHO, they truly are the saviors of heavy metal. All of them are fantastic musicians and they are quite experienced since they all have been in other bands previous like; DESTROSE (legendary band), Sonic Lover Reckless, 21g and Asami who's been singing with artists like VAMPS, UVERworld and even as a backup singer for AKB48
This song was written by the bassist, Miho. She came up with the idea after seeing Slayer performing live at Download Festival last year. Their entire catalog gives the vibe of classic 1980s power metal and thrash.. except that they do it better than all of those older bands combined, plus do it in heels.
Wave, I love these all girl bands. They are great. Please, please, please, check out an early 70's band, Fanny. Before the runaways, the Go Go's, the Bangles, and Joan Jett. There was rock band Fanny. They didn't have a #1hit, but they were the first all female rock band to sign to a major label.BLIND Alley, A place in the country, and ain't that peculiar is great place to start. You won't be disappointed.
They bring the thunder alright! Especially the Thunder Goddess Haruna! Because we both also like Akane from BM here she is with Haruna: pbs.twimg.com/media/DdufZZbVwAU_soj?format=jpg&name=medium And another one: pbs.twimg.com/media/DZsqHfnUQAAQc83?format=jpg&name=large Both amazing drummers! And so different in their styles! From what i can understand in the tweet it seems they get together to try each others gear and talk about their drumming and techniques. More LOVEBITEs please, amazing band! 🤘🙂🤘
Hey Wave, perhaps the Miyako has a wahwah with some kind of digital device in it to adjust the scope of the tone sweep, if there is such a thing , or she has adjusted it on the cogs to favour the upper mids to lower mids.. What you think ?????
That would be awesome! There's definitely a very tasty frequency range in that sweep. People have told me that it's the Jim Dunlop John Petrucci JP95 signature wah. So i'm guessing JP had a hand in crafting this specific range.
That was an 1 hour and 45 minute test drive in a Lamborghini at top speed on the open road.....meaning total exhilaration!!!! Haruna/drums never ceases to amaze the drum pros, you forget sometimes just how amazing she is with all the talent in this band and how little Shine Time her and Miho/bass get. But they don't care cause they drive this band from start to finish. Great reaction and nice points of interest. They ditched the Sgt Peppers straight-jackets and really cut loose after this intro. This band produces more energy than your local utility and they feed off their fans that they truly love. The Wolf-Pack is poised to explode if we can just get back to LIVE shows, I can't imagine how these women don't cause an earthquake when they perform in South America especially with those crazy Argentinians and Brazilians especially.
Some Japanese bands. Take your pick: BAND-MAID [All their songs... really!], LOVEBITES [Raise some Hell, and all the other songs], MAXIMUM THE HORMONE [Yoshu Fukushu], DEXCORE [Red Eye], CROSSFAITH [Catastrophe], SiM [Killing Me], NINGEN ISU [Heartless Scat], UNLUCKY MORPHEUS [Black Pentagram], YOUSEI TEIKOKU [Astral Dogma], COLDRAIN [Die Tomorrow], CRYSTAL LAKE [The Circle], GIVEN BY THE FLAMES [Ronove], ANGRY FROG REBIRTH [2Step Syndrome], SILENTLY SHOOTING TRAITORS [Manipulate], ALDIOUS [Dominator], BRIDEAR [Light in the Dark], CINQ ELEMENT [Destiny], MARY'S BLOOD [Marionette], GRAUPEL [Bereavement], DOLL$BOXX [Take my Chance], SOKONINARU [Tenohira De Odoru], HELLO SLEEPWALKERS [Flying Saucer], TELECiDE [Tied up Memories], NEKO [Ghost on a Record], ROTTENGRAFFTY [Hallelujah], LYNCH [Devil], DIR EN GREY [Ningen wo Kaburu], X JAPAN [Kurenai], DAZZLE VISION [Second], JUPITER [My Enemy], GALNERYUS [Angel of Salvation], BLOOD STAIN CHILD [Del-Sol], NEMOPHILA [Dissension], DADAROMA [Lucid Dream], JILUKA [Suzaku], HANABIE [We Love Sweets], and many many more...
I am a little leery (haven't watched it yet)... your last Band Maid (Secret My Lips) react had... just a little TOO much pausing (like the song couldn't even play 10 seconds without a pause). Not trying to be "one of those" as I appreciate pauses, breakdowns, etc, but when they are THAT constant, I feel it detracts from both the song and the reaction/breakdown. And sometimes it's even ok to talk over stuff like the intro to this song. I know it's a hard balance to hit and people will compalin probably either way. I love the info and knowledge you share mate. Please don't think I don't. But I had to quit halfway through that reaction out of frustration. Just trying to give some hopefully useful critique. If I didn't think your videos contained a lot of value, I wouldn't even bring it up and would jsut move on. As for other songs from Lovebites? The studio live for SHADOWMAKER from the live from Abyss 2020 DVD is great, as is any live performances of Break the Wall or Don't Bite the Dust.
and as an aside, after watching, this reaction was much improved. Felt a little blasphemous to pause mid solo, but will try not to hold that against you. ;)

I made a mistake, her wah pedal is a Jim Dunlop JP95.
This concert is 1 hour and 45 minutes of OMG. 🤩
Thank you for watching LOVEBITES LIVE !
Miyako's gear is DEAN GUITAR!!
Wolfpack calling....HARUUUUUUNA !!! 🐺
The day that were handing out talents these girls were the first in line
Seems to me they went round and rejoined the line a few times.
lovebites is hands down my favorite band of all time

Miyako played a DEAN with a fisherman pick up influences through Pervey & Orange..

The guitarist at 6:00 always looks like a Warrior Queen when she goes into her Power Stance!
Her name is Midori, and the other with a Dean is Miyako.

It's so cool to hear that i could point out something fresh for you! Thank you for sharing!
Miyako is all about Dean and wood grain.
10:30 Miyako uses Dean Guitars. She has several of them including a Dimbag Darrell Dean and at least two Vs.
Her "Dimebag" Dean is actually a Dean ML Switchblade
IMHO, they truly are the saviors of heavy metal. Right, Asami said she could adapt to any style, even KAWAII style of idol singers. Can you imagine Asami singing like AKB48!! lol
Always interesting reaction, Wave. Learned something new. Miyako's using Jim Dunlop JP95 John Petrucci Signature Cry Baby (Wah Pedal)
I'm glad to hear that! And thank you for letting me know! No wonder that wah has such a great frequency range! The John Petrucci touch.
It's a Dean guitar with Fishman active pickups. Self modified by Miyako. Yeah, she is a nerd. She collects Star Wars figures.
Wow indeed
THOSE GIRLS SOUND LIKE METALLICA. DEFINITELY AWESOME . AND THERE ALL SMOKING HOT 🔥 JAPANESE GIRL BANDS ROCK. I
