Did you consider playing Zombie Mines? you simply bypass the entire cast speed issue by that. I did that during Ultimatum and in theory it worked out, I just started hating myself while playing it... but I leave it to you to discover why ;)
Really cool idea. Only bonus to links would in my opinion be casting the zombies with other means like mines/traps/spellsinger as raise zombie has pretty slow cast speed.
Coruscating Elixir works with Umbilicus Immortalis to trigger Minion Instability, so Mother's Embrace should work. You should test it, because it would cut out a lot of complexity. You could use The Traitor and 3 flasks, plus the utility flask mastery, to sustain it.
I tested it a few leagues ago and it doesn't. Mother's embrace makes it happen instantly as they spawn so they don't count as "reaching" low life for MI
@@drblackmole8858 That's super weird. What if they have any regeneration and take any degeneration? I get that if they die before the game recognizes they're "low life" then it doesn't trigger, so you'd need to degen them before they get hit.
The wording is "when reduced to low life" so I assume they would have to go from above 50% to below it via a hit or degen, I think that given it works with Umbilicus Immortalis, but not mother's embrace, the game never registers them before they are affected by the flask. And then after that they are already low life so they cant be reduced to low life without first regening above 50%
The most painful thing about MI Zombies is AOE. Raise Zombies has a slow cast speed and the area of effect for the explosion is small. In the past I've actually linked them with traps to summon multiple in a more spread out area.
Another way to get a lot of quality on a gem is a +1 vix lunaris (+3 all gems) with a lvl 4 enhance. That's +48% and either +9 lvls with a lvl4 empower or +3 levels and another support. I don't think it beats the crests double damage, but maybe the helmet slot can make up for it. But then again you are losing the shieldslot in HC.
Just did some testing and mother's embrace+coruscating elixir does cause all minions to instantly pop when they're summoned, but the explode mod from Montregul's does not work from what I can tell. The damage is certainly there, but clearing is going to be a nightmare unless I missed something from the video.
You might want to check poe db, there might be hidden text about the sceptre explosion only being able to proc off melee zombie kills, but I could be confusing with some other weird item
Belt and flask combo works great, minion instability is triggered as soon as they hit 1hp. So u can play mines zombies with the flask pretty well, also them getting replaced even triggers MI... but i am test now the same setup but with detonate dead ignite prolif using not the corpses from corp walker or unearth/desecrate but my juicy zombies. So far at t10 maps it 1 shots all and its kinda fun to play since the zombies run into the pack and u pop up with DD.

Funny you mention flame dash ignite, I was looking at it the other day and like, the numbers are there for the dps.
