Hi Octavian! Since you are dealing both fire and cold damage, trinity could replace elemental penetration. You just need two elemental damage sources to get full resonance, so it seems a much better support gem.
As a theorycrafter myself I always love the insight others give me while building their PoBs. You always learn little tips and tricks that you may be able to apply to your own builds. Keep it up!

I think the thing I'm most interested in for future videos like this is defensive layers and ailment immunities since some trees have an easier time filling in those needs compared to others

Great idea for a series. When I see people stream a build plan, they often just click all over the click without verbalizing the thought process so you know why they go for certain pathing other another

Really looking forwards to this series! Unfortunately I don’t play enough, don’t generate enough currency, and am not good enough a the game to make it worth while for me to play non meta, but it’s really great to know how to theory craft like this to fix my builds when they brick
On that note, build reviews would be sweet
The meta is usually unfun and overpriced tbh. I specifically avoid it and go for more unpopular build setups that have similar merit because the items aren't going to be hyper inflated because everyone's playing it

The "can you apply exposure" checkbox is probably for simulating the map mod.
For helm just go with an inward eye. Tons of armor/es then the increase to life/mana/es AND the damage it gives you. People enchant the hell out of em' The def and dps they give for cheap is more than hard to beat.
Can always cut ranger start and go out the top as the life from the nodes has been cut, now the bottom path is only 5% life, so thats 2 extra points you can put by constitution
I've found tornado with power charge on crit is very solid for power charge generation on builds that can fit it. not super consistent when clearing but for bosses or tough arch nemesis mobs it helped my raider freeze pulse character
Really like and appreciate this type of content since I am kinda trying to make my own "builds" based on older ones that have not been used in a while or are niche but that may become interesting again with new items / skill changes. E.g. Divine Ire with the new buff and the new Annihilating Light. One thing I am super unsure about is conversion. Divine Ire usually goes for Light -> Cold with Call of the Brotherhoods or pure Ignite with just fire. But when do you truly consider full conversion vs. part conversion or even triple conversion (Eternity Shroud)? I always assumed that full conversion is generally best and maybe go for double or triple dipping but this is probably far from true. One example would be when does phys to light + cold to fire make sense or is the value of the support gem too low to justify? I know it can't be answered in a general way but these are the types of questions I would have for example and that I am having a hard time finding good answers for.
Edit: On a side note my experiments with Divine Ire + The Annihilating Light: seems like a big jerbait since the only the hit is affected and the minus res is too big of a drawback imho. It freezes nicely but I don't think you need the staff for that and always getting a big hit on bosses is not guaranteed + a lot of mapping content destroys you if you are not careful. Next iteration will be Ignite with Omni but I guess the Pen does not work for burning damage :D
