I've just ordered a pot to try. The one point I would make is that the late great Edward Seago produced his own gesso which he designed to be ultra absorbent so he could paint rapidly and often in one sitting.Indeed I spoke to a lady who lived near Seago in Norfolk who occasionally went out painting with him who insisted that towards the end of his life (he died in 1974) he was mixing powdered Snowcem into his gesso to increase absorbency. So it would be great if you were to produce a highly textured super absorbent gesso to sit alongside your current product. Keep up the good work!

40 colors! Woot! I hope they're single pigment! I actually shouted "Yes!!!" when I heard this.

I’ve really enjoyed watching all three of these ‘In Conversation’ videos. It’s been fascinating listen to your heritage and your technical knowledge. I’d really value a raw umber non absorbent acrylic primer. For my imprimatura.

I can't wait. And can't wait to see Vicki Norman doing her lovely colour mixing videos.
BTW could you please ask her to make more videos :)

I think I will try the non-absorbant acrylic ground. It's very problematic when painting with a lot of browns, blues or black shades. Very difficult to assess tone.
