I love watching the progress on the Sauna, I love watching Jordon being such a perfectionist, but my favourite is watching little Miss Sadie growing up in such a loving and happy environment - That is the most PRICELESS gift any child could ever have. These formative years will give her all the grounding and confidence needed to be well equipped, appreciative and ready for anything life has in store for her. Well done as always, much love!
You might consider having the benches fold down and able to fold them up when needed you can put them on hinges and the legs will fold down or fold up when not needed.
Good idea, but why would it ever be needed?
Sadie is such the dearest little one. The best way to learn another language, from a baby. So good to see her mixing with other children in the library.

I love how you guys have an idea and then suddenly it exists!! It's looking awesome!
Just watching how you guys use that bed space, you might not want to add a bench above it. It would impede how you can lean against the walls or stretch your legs up against it. It might be better to build a separate bench that can easily be taken in and out, rather that just having it permanently installed.
But just loving the whole sauna vibe and how happy you both look with it coming together!!!
Remember to put fire protection to the wall behind the kiuas/stove and also air in take should be behind it and then air out should be opposite side up so you get fresh air circulation and then its good heat and still comfortable to be longer.
You all are so much fun to watch. I grew up in a family with farmer mentality and pioneer spirit. That you are educating people used to instantly solving problems by buying the right thing is a much needed job right now. The "make do or make it up" spirit is good for the mind and soul. And that you do it all with a wonderful sense of humor. Thanks so much for sharing parts of your life. There's no way it's as easy as you make it look.

When you cook you’re doing science and home EC!! she’s getting biology and science and PE every day on the farm! And language when she gets her Spanish lessons and she’s learning about society and culture in Central America! Sadie is getting the most amazing homeschool education a kid could get!!
You are giving Sadie such a broad education! Music! When you sing dance and jordan plays guitar you’re teaching her music! Homeschool,is so amazing!
Think about everything you do! Construction! Math! Measuring! Weighting! Gardening! Plant ID…everything you do is education! And if you worry about core curriculum there’s so much online..even testing for basic skills and knowledge!

Looks amazing! It's going to be hot on the behind as hardwood collects the heat more than cedar or eucalyptus, so just make sure you're careful and don't burn your backside!
i know you've already completed it but for the top piece of any kind of tongue and groove planking, you can use a glazing bar to push the last piece in. just stick the curved end in and push sideways.

In Finland, where we all have our own sauna, the place where we sit is called laude. In the sauna, there is a blanket under the seat, a table cloth and a sauna pillow under the back or head and a sauna hat on top.

I just concerned your wood doesn’t end up too hot when in use in your sauna. Check the temp before relaxing, sitting, or laying in your bench in your sauna.

I would have the upper bench on hinges so you can tuck it against the wall when not in use!

It came out perfectly! Happy for you guys. Y’all should consider, if you have not already, creating a walking space from where you live to the bathroom/laundry room. So y’all don’t have to put clothes and shoes on to use that space. 🤙🏻🌞
The flat bar you are using to put in your last board next to the ceiling/beam can be used a different way to snap your t+g.
Turn it around and use the hook end which you'd usually use to pull a nail. Don't pull out on the long end, pull it to the side so that the hook is twisting in the sideways direction. Makes it way easier to get those last boards in.

You had the right idea with the nail bar, but you need one with L shaped ends. Place one end over the top of the board, use a hammer to tap on the lower L.

I think Jordan & Kaylee had mentioned in one of their videos back, not so far back, maybe a few videos ago ... I think they mentioned their plans in the very near future to build a deck along side their house leading all the way to the bathroom / sauna / laundry room ... I'm not sure if it will be enclosed or open but if I'm not mistaken I believe they have ideas & plans for this ... then they won't have to worry about using the ladder ... 😊❤️😊 it will be so convenient, wonderful, and look amazing as everything they build looks simply AMAZING !!! 👏
Sauna looks amazing! Keep in mind that the wood will become incredibly hot when the heat and steam is on and you will need as little of it as possible to touch you. Also when you are sweaty you don’t want to lean your back or legs on anything. A narrower seat might be more practical.

Cut the tongue off of the top board, have someone help you hold it down and then nail it in.
It is how you install wood or any kind of plank flooring. When you get to the wall, the last piece does not have a tongue. 😊
