What material is the center axis pin made from? I ordered a set and I'm curious. "Materials Used" section on the website doesn't say and its the component carrying my weight. Thanks
ah the challenges of product development. I upgraded to larger pegs and it was a game changer for long mile comfort and for control. Good luck with these.
I got mine and install them. So my first thought is they were a lot higher and a lot more flimsy than my stock peg. If I could lower the peg and push it back, it would be all the difference. For now, I am taking them off because it makes it very difficult to ride. I did see the new pegs. I think that you were planning on making in the future in this video. Maybe if I could lower the peg I could get to the shifter better with my riding boot. Possibly sending these back.
Awesome looking pegs! Also great to see you went a hex bolt instead of torx to lock in the rotating shaft arrangement, as maintenance out on the road/dirt should be more accessible.
Looks fantastic and well designed, the video really shows the thought process. I will need a set for my new Tiger 1200 Rally Pro with adjustable height as I have a low seat option when they are available.
Like all of your products, it looks well engineered. Started with the MotoBags. Loved how they were designed so much, decided to give the MotoTent a try, love it as well. Before you I knew it I had grabbed the Overlander, Tail Pack, MiniBags, Tool Roll... Stop it I'm broke! But I have everything I need for living off my bike.
I never tried the bmw ones but the idea of the rubber to go deep and expose the teeth when you are standing up is cool. Maybe something for you to consider in V2. Great job as usual!
It's looking good. I am riding a Suzuki 1050xt on and offroad. I don't ride in the mud, therefore the 1050xt is to inefficient. Gravel, dry forrest and a bit of sand is no problem. So I am looking foreword for these better footpegs. Keep me posted.
Looking forward to getting a set on my Pan Am. I think you mentioned in the early concept that you were looking for it to fit pillion too. Is this still something you will be doing or if I got that wrong is it something you’ll look at developing?
So is the pre-sale with the 20% off as you mentioned just for the BMW and KTM range? If so thats really disappointing to hear. Was hoping to snag a set for my Africa Twin Adventure Sport :/
Results: They are strong and like everything, they have a destruction point. Depends on many factors but they are built tough. We had to increases the anodization depth massively to make a stronger surface. Interesting question: what would be considered a crash test? Should it be a slide on a highway at 160kmh? Or a lowside on gravel at 30kmh?
please find a way to fix the rotation, because is affect the foot ankle if someone is gonna use on off road .. plus is best to come with two sides so you can twist ( one for road one for off-road )
They have definite potential. I have wider Touratech pegs and they are good, but really would appreciate the rotational flexibility that these pegs offer. Roll on the KTM 1190 Adv version, I'll be queueing up.
It would be nice to see LR use a spring instead of rubber baby buggy bumpers, my experience with rubber on my dirt bikes and MTN. bikes is it will need replacing way more frequently then a spring. I was just about to order a set of Pivotpegz for my 2022 Triumph tiger 900 RP, but would like to here from LR on a possible delivery date for Triumph riders.
With springs you don't get the adaptive control. It's a lateral result and not as good. There have been a lot of people asking for the Triumph bikes, we will make them for sure as soon as possible.
Pegs do look good. Best pegs available? Well I guess that's a little hard to say. After 45 years of racing and riding dirt/enduro bikes and riding adventure bike's, I would be interested in trying them out. Like to see if they are as you say, the best pegs in the world. Bold statement. It will depend on your price. Never been a big fan of rotation pegs to date. The ability to have fixed or rotating is a good option for those who want it, also to adjust the height, but I personally haven't had the need so would be paying for those extra options I don't need. Hard to justify. I'm riding a 2021 T7 so I'll keep an eye out for when they are available in Australia. I may give them a try. No point me pre ordering as you've stated T7 will not be one of the first bike's available and you've given no price range. Would be nice to know price and is there a discount when the T7 ones are available or is that just for BMW owners.
Hi Dixon. It is a bold statement, one that we believe in now. I would love to know what you think, especially with all that experience, please if you do get to ride on them, email us and say you want Andrew to get this email. We already have the design for the T7, just going through the process now to test it. Cheers!
why not make all the metal parts out of high tensile stainless - weight shouldn't be a problem with our GS bikes and they would withstand far more stress and abuse. I know it may cost more - but we would all pay because LR makes excellent stuff
Yes, you are correct, we could use SS and that is a great material, we can still use SS down the road. I didn't use it because Aluminum is light and well suited for this application, and with CNC machining I can get a quick turn around time and have great tolerances.
Footpeg position on Honda crosstourer is bad. Unfortunaly it's not the same pegs as Africa twin Could be very nice to ajust it by 3 or 4 cm as if you Moving down and back, you loose a lot of adjustability

Looks like a really well thought out and designed product. Tiger 900 Rally Pro next please!
Cant be more happy with the videos you are doing. Its great to see the thought process and everything it takes to build a great product. Keep going!
Thanks 👍

Good stuff! Thanks
Great looking peg....my bike can't wait to have them.....my feet can't wait to touch them
Right on!
Look really good & purposeful, hopefully I’ll get a set for my Triumph Scrambler 1200
roger that.
Very interesting product and very well designed. Bravo.
Thank you very much!
Never knew I could get this excited over foot pegs, lol.
💪😁 Us too!
Looking forward to using these. Love these explain videos. Well done
Glad you like them!
Love these and all you’ve done. I’m in. BMW 1250 GS. 👍

Wow! Great innovation, T7 please.
Coming soon!
Great looking product. Definitely be up for a pair for my Aprilia Tuareg 660 👍
Good bike choice! Will have to look for that bike and make some adaptors. Cheers
Definitely be ordering for a Tiger 900 Rally Pro when they become available
The Tiger 900 Rally Pro guys are out in force. We will make MotoPegs for this bike for sure.
Just waiting for my old 1993 africatwin ;)
Great engineering, and design

Great!
Awesome looking pegs! Also great to see you went a hex bolt instead of torx to lock in the rotating shaft arrangement, as maintenance out on the road/dirt should be more accessible.
Thanks!
But we can't get the locking function with a bolt. We went with a locknut. We did try but then you would need to glue the bolt.
@@LONERIDERMoto ah, well spotted, my mistake! I did mean hex nut, not hex bolt.
Hi Andrew, any chance that you’ll eventually make these available for the baby GS the G310GS? I’m definitely ultra keen if you do mate.
That's the plan!
That's a really great innovation ! I guess these will fit on a KTM Super Adventure 2021 ? Kind regards
Yes! www.lonerider-motorcycle.com/pages/motopegs-fitment
Looks like these will be ready to order/mount on my 890 bout the time I’m recovered from six fractured ribs and shoulder blade. 😁 Perfect timing!
Yes! They fit the KTM 890 - www.lonerider-motorcycle.com/pages/motopegs-fitment
Any pegs to moto guzzi v85tt?
Just BMW, KTM and Huskies for now, will develop others soon
I second the Moto Guzzi V85TT

Glad you like it! Noted in the Tiger 1200 Rally Pro
Looks great. Will they be available for the Honda CRF300L?
Not sure yet, will check if all the Honda pegs fitment are the same as the Africa Twin.
Thanks for sharing Andrew. A better microphone would be great for your videos.
Working on it! The new one is sitting on my desk ready to be installed as we speak

Need to make the adaptor plate for the AT. We are still developing it...
Pre-sale starts 1st August, till then join the waiting list: www.lonerider-motorcycle.com/pages/motopegs-waiting-list
These fit on the Husqvarna Norden 901 and KTM 890 Adventure? Count me in.

prototype 3 looks interesting
Its the last one! Works great too
With all this innovation, reasurch and design. What have the results been with crash testing ?
Results: They are strong and like everything, they have a destruction point. Depends on many factors but they are built tough. We had to increases the anodization depth massively to make a stronger surface. Interesting question: what would be considered a crash test? Should it be a slide on a highway at 160kmh? No, I tested them the other day. Will need to make a custom adaptor.
@@LONERIDERMoto Thanks. 🤞all goes well.
if mud or dust stock in the rubber holes? is it sealed??
Its sealed

At a later date. 👍
want a set of footpegs for my xrv 750 africa twin.

Interesting option for my KTM 890 Adventure (“S”). I will keep it in mind.
Any indication of the price?
Yes, they will fit the 890. 199 Euro/USD from this Monday the 1st presale price.
What about adjustable height (thinking of the Twisted Throttle pegs that give me~ 15mm of extra vertical space)
Yes, these will lower. Check out minute 6:00. Will ship the lowering kit at a later date as an add-on.

Noted! We already have the T7 in the works. Will look into the Ducati's too
A couple spare locking nut should be provided, those will loosen-up if you experiment with rubber inserts.
We will include more!
Great development and product - well done guys - I own an old girl ... 2003 BMW R1150 GS Adventure ...is that a consideration?
I will have to get my hands on this bike to check if it already works, I don't think so though.
