    Pacland, I loved that in the arcades about 30 yrs ago.
    I remember when the SNES had just been released and I was walking around some shops with my parents, clocked the SNES display, as soon as we got back from holiday I went straight to my local game shop and exchanged my Megadrive with about 20 games for the SNES with Super Mario.
    I was well happy😎😎

    Your game hunting videos are always so nice Jim.
    They makes me want to go back to Japan, and all the store you went I did too because since my first trip to Tokyo your videos were my retro gaming reference for where to go in Akiba.

    I might visit Tokyo (and hopefully other places in Japan) next year, so seeing these sort of videos really give me a good sense of what to expect and maybe where to go. I see that a lot of good shops are really tucked away there. Let's see how it goes with the language barrier and all :)

    I lived in Japan many years ago and it's crazy how prices have risen. I was fortunate enough to have this huge thrift store in the countryside where I lived with so many retro games and when I felt like Tokyoing it was only a 2 hours train ride away so I would often go on weekends. I miss Japan so much. Nice video man!

    Always fun to watch these videos. It's a shame so many places have wised up to how much retro games can go for over the last 10 years and adjusted their prices accordingly. what a cool video! even besides seeing the insides of the various retro game shops in Japan, just seeing the city outside and all the signs and things was pretty great! obligatory 'would love to visit there someday' comment too, hehe. Some cool famicom pickups though! started collecting for it myself this year (lucked into an NES copy of pinball that had one of the infamous fami-to-nes converters nintendo made so I rigged it up so I could use it on fami carts and ordered a few off of ebay!) and might try to expand the collection next year, even if I don't make it to Japan. :P

    • @Lekks25
      @Lekks25 5 років тому

      @@shinfeels Mos burger is really dissapointing, it's priced slightly higher than Wendy's and Burger King, almost as high as Carl's, yet the burgers are very tiny. As for taste, it tastes very artificial and oily, and half their burgers are katsu or tariyaki, someting you kind of want a break from when you go for a burger. The smell of their hot dogs and Mos burger sauce is the worst.
      I might be a bit extra biased against them since they gave me food poisoning twice, but Japanese people cut them too much slack just for being the "Japanese brand".

    No shop like this in Europe, sadly. Also Digital will be the end of video gaming as we know it. People search for convenience will mean a lot of small titles released only on digital format will totally disappear in a few years, never to be found again.The physical copy is the testament !
