    What a dream. I have a 2005 Prius so the mfd maybe too old but also...at 679usd that's so expensive 😢. The gen2 Prius I feel has one of the best places to Mount a phone and using android auto on the phone (can't do that with car play?) That solves the issue mostly . Would love to have this though!

    Oh wow, thank you so much for this video-I had no idea this option even existed! I've been wanting to upgrade my stereo just to have Android Auto capabilities, but with all the adapters… wires… ugh… ends up being about $300 anyway, which I'd much rather put into getting one of these!

    Good video. It would be nice to see a more detailed user interface walkthrough with functions on the carplay. For example, how constrained are the map views using the Prius mfd, particularly for traffic views. Resolution issues? How does zoom and pan work. Response time issues? In the end many of us would probably have a stereo guy install it but the user interface would be the deciding factor. One would hate to install this with the time and expense just to be disappointed with constraints of the Prius mfd.

    Wonderful idea, but we could add a Android Auto (wireless) via a PIONEER or Sony unit for $300 buck and you can also add steering wheel control for 49.99. Just to pricey to compete with other solutions. If it was $150... that seems about right.

      If you add the $500 deductable after someone steals your Pioneer/Sony unit, it's worth it! No one will try to steal this since it's hidden so well

      @TheHybridGuy  Місяць тому

      You are certainly right. You could do that. I prefer the look of how it came from the factory and as such like it this way. I will say though, using code reading apps with it are an issue when you have a master warning light, that part sucks. For what it is, it is good but there certainly are drawbacks. Thanks for sharing!
