Ok,...it is as he said except for "Stereo in & out" part,...you must "create" stereo via your own fx loop + direct out from that or those fx...and the mix out of the unit all connected to separate amps or PA mixer. Doing this satisfiying requires some level balance when making your loops with the "band" function though so be adviced, He did also mention as a clue to get near as possible to the groove desired to "pre-select" a genre & style to acquire that style. This does get you in the jist of what you may want to settle for as a basic groove in the desired genre but you may have to combine genres & styles to get there and can make the "5 part" arrangements interesting and not bad for a "live performance" version!..b('_' ) Anyway,..the Trio+ works great with any pedalboard,..multi-fx unit or just fav stomp boxes,..and you'll enjoy it as you see fit...for practice or enhancing your "One man, Duo or Trio live gigs",...(meant that!..no pun intended there) It's a cool lil' box and once you master it,...you'll see!...The 12 songs on a MicroSD is also a great feature as you can save your creations, "Stage Sets" or licks! It could be much more useful if:1. Bass line and drum could be recorded as MIDI files and then exported to any DAW software to edit them. Guitar could be recorded as a wave file.2. Drum machine could be used while recording to keep the tempo.
I feel Digitech really missed a trick here. Increase the pedal size and double it's features! Give the opportunity to program more than 5 song parts! How about specific Intro/ending features as the Trio just stops in a very unrealistic way when it gets to the end. In short, I've decided that my Trio + will only be used to Jam and assist in songwriting. I can't see me using this live, especially with the unrealistic drum sounds. I hope Digitech has much more consultation with musicians and improves the Trio. I don't believe it helps when musicians do these demos and and all they say is that this pedal is the coolest thing ever!
Live for gigs? I like 2 c that...took me 5 minutes to understand that thing is worthless . Loop your materials as you always done before you'll learn more and spend less time fighting with things that have no sense...we can find only videos by salesmen infact..not real on the road players..did anybody noticed it?

And uploading new drum / bass sounds. It sounds like a 30+ year old Casio keyboard.
