You know, I give major props and praises to Hersheypark. They actually listen to their commuinty and to the enthusiast community. For many, many years, we the Hersheypark community have been screaming on top of mountains to get Wildcat the RMC treatment. Along with the local coaster enthusiasts community as well. It took them a bit but they sure did deliver! This is why Hersheypark has such a Dynamite line up. They actually listen to the community, especially the enthusiast community.
LOL! I was thinking the same thing. There's no way I could ride the whole ride just holding the handles.. the park only have those stickers there to cover their ass if something happens. Because they know people will have their hands up 1000%. If it were that serious of a label it will look more so like this "if caught not holding the handles you will be ejected from the park with no refund. Season pass holders will be revoked"😅😅😅😂😂. This is a great POV! I've never been to Hersheypark but since this is open it is time to make a trip!
Looks very good, solid 8.5-9 out of 10. You can tell as RMC has gotten experience and grown that their designs have gotten more refined. Arieforce One looks to take the cake with the scale and aggression, but both look brilliant.
This looks incredible. I can't say I didn't have my worries that the Draves RMCs wouldn't have the same bite that the Schilke designs were known for, but Arie was incredible and this looks like it continues the trend. Love how Draves was able to keep the crazy airtime while adding more positive moments.
@@NickyD until Draves gets his Zadra, Untamed, Lightning Rod, Twisted Timbers, Outlaw Run and Gwazi there's no comparison to be made. With that said, the drawn out outer bank on Arie Force One is something I want to see more of.
@Victoria G after thinking about it Im leaning towards no. It just dawned on me that this was the same guy that designed Lightning Run and Steel Curtain. Now I can't unsee those rides when I look at AF1 and WCR. The profiling and somewhat stiff transitions all make sense now.
Got my ride on Tuesday, the video does the pacing no justice. This ride HAULS and feels like it elements are sized in such a way that they actually get MORE aggressive as the ride goes on. Those last airtime pops after the zero g roll are violent. Phenominal ride. My third favorite RMC now after Steve and Lightning Rod (opening year before the launch was nerfed)
I went on this rollercoaster yesterday thinking it wouldn’t be too bad. I’m not a huge fan of rollercoasters but I did it anyways. I had no idea what to expect other than there were four inversions. This was probably one of the most insane rides I’ve been on. The inversions makes you feel like you’re about to fall out of your seat, especially the last one. The drop is so fun and it is such a blast!
We went monday and also got frount seat. Truly amazing ride. Its took over my number 1 spot at Hersheypark, for close to 20 years my number 1 was Stromrunner, Wildcats revenge over took that spot as number 1 for me.
Hershey is so complete with coasters now, and they still have tons of room at the front. And they like to add coasters frequently. Top 5 amusement park that won’t stop growing
I think this makes Hershey Park one of the best well rounded parks out there for top thrills. B&M Hyper, Intamin Wing, Intamin launch, B&M inverted, Intamin vertical, a dark ride, boomerang, mine train, old fashioned woodies & now a RMC hybrid.
I can tell by how when the camera lunges forward a bit at the airtime moments, just in the front, you’d get great airtime, but in the back, oh lord you’d probably be shot into the stratosphere.
It looks amazing. Which probably isn't that surprising considering it's an RMC, but even by RMC standards it seems above average. I don't see this surpassing SteVe but it could take the cake from Twisted Timbers as my runner-up hybrid. Guess I'll find out this summer. Unrelated but I have the same Apple Watch strap :)
Those who say this is better than Steel Vengeance have obviously never rode it. SV is not joke and unforgiving. Its not stop action from the first drop until it returns to the station.
@victoriag9801 ..My bad. If you look at Steel Vengeance, the best part of the ride is within the structure. You cannot tell where you are going because it’s all hidden within the structure. I must have rode it 15 times and I still couldn’t tell where it was going. If you have the opportunity you must go to Cedar point. First class coasters there with Milineum Force and SV being worth the trip alone.
For a 44 year old fart who still loves to ride coasters and hasnt been to Hershy park since his last time in 1992. (Been 5 times). This park with this RMC addition is becoming one of my musts to revisit!!! Edit.... Do they still have the Comet and the Super duper looper?
Wildcat's Revenge looks insane! I will definitely be heading to Hershey soon!! Thanks for posting this POV video. I bet the backseat is even wilder! Have the restraints on Skyrush been changed at all? That is one of my biggest problems I had when riding... it kills your legs on the airtime moments!! 😵
All of these POVs are proving this coaster has a ride time of around 1 min 30-ish secs. The park is still insisting there is an additional minute somewhere😂🤣💀💀 And don't even try and say station time bc imagine if Iron Gawzi included station/dispatch time the coaster would be like 5 mins😂🤣😂💀💀

Putting the viewer in the seat and giving them a chance to make their own reactions. There will be a reverse POV posted later today showing my full reaction to the ride. SPOILER ALERT - It was incredible!
This is a Joe Draves design so it’s very different than what Alan Schilke would’ve done! This coaster focuses a lot on laterals and positive Gs which is a nice change of pace to see from RMC.
@@AmericasCoasterNetwork yea feel that Arieforce One shaping seemed more traditional though. Excited to see what Draves does going forward but cant imagine him surpassing Schilke
@@AmericasCoasterNetwork Most ppl do. I personally have no issue with skyrush restraints. Holding on while riding skyrush just means that the weight of your arms pushes down the restraints when you hit that 5 g after first drop so you basically staple yourself but nobody ever thinks about that. It’s not mid but we heard from RMC directly that WR was intentionally designed to be not as intense as their other coasters due to Hersheypark’s desire to appeal to families.
I find it incredibly pointless for you to hold on for dear life going up the lift Hill looks like you’re scared of rollercoaster with how tight you’re holding the handlebars
I'm surprised that there's something to hold onto. I know a chief complaint about RMC coasters is that there's nothing to hold onto, so I don't know if RMC has responded to the criticism and will have handles on the restraints in future coasters.
