- Welcome back to another Peak District Hike!! Today we have got an exciting route out of the incredible 'Kinder Scout Mountain Walks' book, written by Sarah Lister! It was a wild day on the plateau but one I'll never forget.
You can find Sarah's book on this link:

Just done this walk yesterday and loved it, although the walk up Grindslow Knoll is no joke! Great video - cheers 👍🏻
I bought the book a few months ago. I have not done any of the routes. YET ,great video. Thanks for doing that route 👍
It’s a great book, bought it last time I visited the Penny Pot Cafe, Sarah certainly knows her stuff, love listening to her podcast too ‘Wild About Kinder’ helps me to feel like I’m there, even when I’m so far away!!
She really does know her stuff!! Sarah's podcast is fantastic isn't it, a great ambassador for our wonderful Kinder 😊
@@alexcripps.outdoorsI’d say both of you do wonders for the Peak District, you’ve got me hooked, and I know three other people I’ve taken along with me are hooked too, it’s a beautiful place 👌🏻
Looked like a great route. Thanks for sharing. Out in all weathers 👍🏻
Thank you very much! 😊
brilliant - as always, your walks are so inspiring.
Thanks for the video, looks amazing up there in the mist and cloud! Great to see your enthusiasm as well. Keep up the good work!
Thank you very much! 😊
I took both my rough collies up to Kinder scout in the snow at different times Jake in 2009 and Alfie in 2016 tough going in the snow and saw a pure white hare .Loved the adventure .
Wow that sounds like a great couple of days on Kinder!! Its a special place in the snow
Love this place, often stay at the camping site in Edale. Didn't know Sarah had written this. Just ordered it for Spring next year. Hopefully, one day, I'll pick a sunny day.
Another great vlog….. and it’s amazing how the top of the peaks can change so quickly …. And I’ll be getting hold of that book
Thank you so much Phil! The book is great highly recommend it for some different Kinder routes
Well done Alex , definitely not for the faint hearted in that weather
Nice one. A great hike.

Well that was quite the wild day, the book looks very interesting, glad it brightened up near the end.
A very wild day! Highly recommend the book 😊
Very enjoyable watch. The wife and I got lost on that plateau about 10 years ago. Brings back some anxious memories! Many thanks for creating and sharing
Thank you so much! Oh no! I've had a couple of close calls getting lost on Kinder, so easily done in the clag isn't it
Never even heard of that - good work on the Nav mate!
Cheers Shaun!! Looking forward to seeing you at Christmas mate!

I climbed kinder in august I took the hayfield route walking past the reservoir it was a great walk
Another fabulous route and video on Kinder! Just love the ‘clag’ myself, it makes the plateau look and feel so mysterious. But as you say Alex you must know your navigation skills and take maps + navigation tools with you. Felt I was there as well. 👍
Thank you Peter!! There's something special about a clagged out Kinder, very mysterious indeed!
haha seems a few of us the past few weeks did the wreckage sightseeing ha! Kev green he has a list of every aircrasft on kinder and updated the OS grid refrences etc :) MY LAST VID WAS SHOWING 2 WRECKS :) (WELLINGTON & HALIFAX plane wrecks :)
