    Grandes tomas y hermoso vídeo. Los vuelos siempre son la parte más complicada pero con práctica siempre se consigue alguna toma decente. A seguir disfrutando, personalmente tengo grandes tomas con la especie bastante común en los ríos del norte de España.

    Nice photos at the end though they were ruined by UA-cam insisting on showing whats coming up next

      Thanks for watching shame UA-cam got in the way of the user experience ! Thanks for letting me know I will have to look into this one ! 🤔👍

    Oh look, it's lonely in here i'll make a comment :) Great video mark, could you not have got a little closer if you'd gone prone along the structure that seemed to jut out into the river? Or was it that you were positioned to get in-flight as well as 'static' shots? And obviously I realise you wouldn't want to disturb nesting birds, even though they do look rather used to human activity. Another question, do you always go full manual when the light is predictably good, only dropping to auto ISO with lower / patchy light? Cheers

    • @CamillaI
      @CamillaI  2 роки тому +1

      Yes thanks for commenting ! I made it to the middle of the river which is as far as you could go really ! It is really hard lying prone in that position on a rock! But I wish I could have got as close as Trond yesterday on his vlog ! I do tend to favour manual with auto ISO, rather than full manual ! The light was actually very unpredictable in the valley ! Back in October hoping to meet up with another UA-camr from North Devon ! Awesome

    I’m interested how do you choose if to take the 600 F4 or 200-600? Also I noticed you are using fluid ball-head rather than gimbal. What is your decision making process there? Thanks for another interesting video.
    I have the 200-600 and am considering the 600 prime, but as well as the high price, am concerned at its lack of flexibility with fixed focal length

      If I know the site, it's a small bird and I can easily get in position the 600mm f4 every time ! The 200-600 has a standard Swiss arca plate on its base for use with the Gimbal ! I will get another plate for the video head VH-10x it has a different plate to the Swiss arca annoyingly so at the moment this requires changing which I won't bother in the field !
      90% of my bird shots with the 200-600mm are taken at 600mm ! Just working on next two video after this one comparing the A7II with 200-600 mm and the A1 with the 600mm f4 ! Without giving the plot away there is a very discernible difference ! 3K v 18K !

      @@CamillaI Thank you for your response. I look forward to seeing that future comparison video, although I think you should try the 200-600 also on the A1 for it to be a fair comparison, otherwise we don’t know how much it is the camera, or lens difference. I presume you got the 600 F4 from Castle Cameras? If I order, one I will order from them, as it is a lens that would have to be specially ordered. I don’t think any of the online shops have in stock to send immediately.
