I don’t know much about animals but maybe they would consider having all of them fixed before being rehoused. Maybe that could be a question on the application .
Or what if someone just simply doesn't want to neuter their dog?! It's not obligatory you know there are plenty of people who have not neutered pets would be pretty stupid making people sign sth like this, it's a personal decision of the person adopting

As a rescuer, I can tell you you are in an extraordinarily unusual position. A lot of rescue workers will be weeping that you have so many applicants, and their rescue pups and adult dogs - wonderful individuals, are unwanted. Especially in kill shelters. It is heart breaking to know how desperate some people are, to save dogs they care for. Maybe you could video local puppies in rescues near you? I could not face going into rescues - especially kill shelters - my heart would tear apart, but you could ask the rescues to send videos of available puppies AND similar adult dogs of that size. Large dogs are adopted far more rarely than small - and black dogs and cats are adopted less than any other dog of same size, age and temperament. More black, healthy, lovely dogs are killed in shelters, than any other colour.
@@SunVillageAR One factor actually FAVORS black dogs. White dogs and cats, or or those with white ears, white noses, lips and around eyes, are now far more likely to get skin cancers. Usually on the ears, first So a pitch black dog is almost guaranteed to be safe from that, in middle/old age. In Oz, skin cancers in dogs and cats is terrible.

I have suggested Eyevoree contact local rescues and ask them to video their pups and larger, similar dogs and send to Eyevoree to put up here, so she might be able to save tens more dogs - give them a chance to escape kill shelters and rescues.

That’s very true. Social media is a platform that raises an awareness, most animals looking for a home don’t have that luxury. Don’t be angry at the people making these videos, though. They’re just doing the best they can with the puppies they have. The best thing to do is reach out and educate people. The worst problem we have is people driving all over the United States and paying hundreds or thousands of dollars for purebred designer dogs when our local shelters are busting at the seams. PLEASE ADOPT, DONT SHOP!!!!

Im so glad you're making sure history doesn't repeat itself. I had a similar experience years ago but everyone was either calling me a scammer for pricing the vet care into the price of the puppy, and couldn't fathom why I would ask for anything for "mixed breeds" all I could think is damn. People really are out here bitter because they can't have a free puppy.

It would be great if we could have another dog, but We currently have two dogs who we adopted from shelters, and one of them just had her back leg amputated. With Zoey healing from major surgery, I don’t think it would be responsible to bring in another dog.

So many people for these few dogs. But I doubt the ones that don't get them will go and adopt from their local shelter. I think that is always aweful. If you want to open you doors to a rescue, it shouldn't matter of it is a viral dog on the internet, of a poor sad little nobody at your local shelter.
I wish I can adopt one of the puppies but you guys only want people in your area. I'm in NYC, I have had dogs since age 5 to now im 51. My dad was a Vet. he always made sure I had a dog. Awww Tico! That was the name of my dog! He was a white chihuahua. We called him our Tico Only since it was something my brother said when we were little. We had to put our dog down since he was really sick and had heart failure
In the UK where we have very few, almost no stray dogs on the streets pretty much everyone spays and neuters. Also the rescue places do this before rehoming. In any country in the world there is no need for more puppies and kittens, it's irresponsible to breed them. People should adopt.

She’s not sending them to new homes now, she’s just getting good homes lined up for them. You can’t wait until they are old enough & expect to find good homes instantly. She’s doing her homework to give them the best opportunities
Be very careful when meeting prospects for adoption. Please protect your home and your space. See if the vet you have been using will allow you to use their office for meetings. You're doing an amazing thing.
What you all have done is amazing but seeing how much extra care you have given her with the mastitis and other things, makes me so sad for any dog mama that is out there and don’t have help from caring humans. Please everyone, advocate for spay and neutering. You can help others by looking to see if your area has a low cost clinic. Backyard breeders and puppy mills should not be allowed. I know of a city currently where the council woman is trying to put a stop to it. What has happened to this poor dog never should have happened. People have to do better and be more responsible!! Please do home visits as part of the adoption vetting, and an unannounced follow up visit after 2 weeks. Get first right of refusal in your adoption application so they can’t rehome the dog without contacting you first.
How old are the puppies? They should NOT be adopted before 8-10 weeks or they will have behavioral issues from being removed from their litter TOO EARLY!

I am sorry to be so graphic, but I have rescued too many abused dogs from the streets over the years, not to realize that people take better care of animals they have actually paid money for …they are invested from the start. What you do with those funds is up to you, but you can always donate it to private local animal rescue groups of your chosing. Thanks for all the time you have put into Mama & her babies. You were very lucky to have had ALL that help with donations & gifts …as most rescuers, like myself, have to pay for everything out of our own pockets …especially replacement of destroyed dog beds, crates, toys, etc. Bless you 🙏
