- I had a blast making this Petrified Wood Natural Stones ring! I only could get one petrified wood ring out of it because it kept breaking along the "wood" grain. It still baffles me that I successfully made a 220 Million Year Old Tree into a Ring. This is not your average Wood Turning Video! This is Rock Turning! How much size was lost throwing it in the vibratory tumbler?
Not at all if any. It works very well for cleaning up saw marks. I like the vibratory tumbler much better because it takes off less medium and works faster!
I would like to see a bonsai pot made out rock.

We do have a shop but I was only able to successfully make one ring because all of the other ones broke due to the grain of the rock.
