@@lizzzarduh even before I cut oil it just seems to make EVERYTHING messy. The flavor in cooking doesn’t come from oil, it’s more so a conductor and lubricant. I think it’s more common for a person to cook too hot with oil which then just causes it to break down and burn, producing off flavors. Flavor is more so from the season and some from browning/caramelizing. So playing around with different herbs, spices, roasting and air-frying.

Oh so true we do get recipe amnesia sometimes. We might go thru our fridge and make something we haven’t made for awhile and go “hey, why don’t i make this more often?” I’m so glad i’m Asian. Despite me picking up lots of bad habits, unlearning them made easy when we’re too lazy to get fancy. Aaaand measuring Dillon’s style is what i’m here for. I made your Stuffed Pepper Soup today. Much easier and faster than the other recipes I have. I not only like eating it as a soup, but because of it's thickness I like to put it over baked potatoes or as sloppy joes and even using it as a sauce for my Rotini noodles. So many things you can do with this recipe. TFS

I made the stuffed pepper soup today in a slow cooker for 4 hours on high and walked away and went about my daily business. Unfortunately I can't get any of your products in Canada, (hopefully that changes in the near future?) didn't have date powder so used a Tbsp of Cocoa powder and also threw in some frozen broccoli and bokchoy and it all turned out amazing. This will be awesome on top of a baked sweet potato. Thank you guys for all that you do!!
I have to make that lunch, but 2 can't have acidic foods and I don't like tomatoes, so hopefully it will taste okay if I omit it and add more broth. Looks so good! All of it!

So what I do to prevent my tortillas splitting is fan out about 5-8 tortillas on a plate and cover with another plate. Heat in the microwave for a 1-3 minutes and with it being covered it creates a steam and they are very soft. Try it and let me know.

So I recently transitioned from a lifetime of being Lacto-Ovo-Vegetarian to full vegan. So I'm happy but also I've had severe asma since I was a little girl I cannot eat tofu , nuts, chic peas or wheat without closing my lungs up. Will never give up my belief system witch is that I will never eat anything with a soul I jokingly refer to our family kitchen as Holly's soul- less kitchen. So I would love to see you do a show with some advice on good alternative sources of those foods for asmatics or people with allergies like me that also feel passionately about the life style. Or any advice at all would be welcomed! Thank you..

How can you do tortillas without oil? Don't tortillas need fat for the dough to stick together?
Corn tortillas never have added fat like flour tortillas do.

Definitely go with the date powder. It tastes like real sweetness rather than chemically weird sweetness.
