You can’t deny your skeleton a stick in this life or in the next. You’re cold Doc… get the man his key weapon. Do you go to work without an iPad with the latest Mac-medical software? No. Get that skeleton his stick. Graphite will be fine. And put an AVS jersey on him… nah on second thought he represents the playoffs well. Great job by the Leafs medical staff in what is a very challenging situation when an athlete is confused and not cooperating after an injury like this.

Incredibly insightful. Thank you for this!
Was waiting for this right after I watched it happen live. Thanks doc
Awesome breakdown....makes me want to be a medical doctor. It was broken down specifically and thoroughly explained. Thanks Doc!! 👍🏽🤘🏽💪🏽
Really great detailed information here! This was really scary to witness last night, but this breakdown is so helpful and educational!
Very horrific injury to watch wish a best and a speedy recovery for John Tavares🙏✝️.
Good job Doc, keep up the great work. Appreciate all the details & how you try to explain from both sides. Very knowledgeable, ty
Thank you so much for this. As a Leafs fan and a JT fan all I could think about was please be ok.
Very informative. Thank you for sharing Dr. Sutterer
Hoping for a speedy recovery and hopefully we'll see JT, back on the ice. This is coming from a life long Habs fan, that saw this happened live on TV.
I cant believe JT still had his stick in his hands during the entire sequence. I've never felt so sick watching a hockey game before and have never wanted a game to just end any quicker. This was terrifying and im just thankful that we seen positive signs before he left the ice because it looks like a carreer ending scene. Prayers go out to JT, his family and his friends
Been a leafs fan my whole life, watching that I’m sick to my stomach, even the morning after. I just hope JT is okay he just had a kid few years ago and he’s great guy
Thank you Doctor for a great indept video and description of the impacted incident on JT91 last night.
Wish JT91 fast recovery and healthy soon.🙏
i have been waiting for this for 12 hours
love the commitment, I'm up at 3am UK watching the game and a noti comes through and who else would it be 👌
Its 3:54 and we are still up watching videos of that scary hit.
This video was amazing. I have a cervical spine injury, well done.
After a long time, now I realize our doctor here is doing an amazing yet understandable explanation to satisfy our curiousity. Thanks doc, no cap 👍👍👍
You bet!! Simple explanations, just to add a little different perspective on sports stuff
Yeah I mean, where else you can get such a detail explanations for FREE, I repeat, FOR FREE. Keep up the good work, doc. You deserved millions subs 🔥🔥🔥
Great vids, do you know if that was blood coming out of his eyes when he was trying to get up and if so, why?
I'm glad I've watched this UA-cam channel since 10k
Thanks for the video. This was very helpful
Awesome job getting this out so fast! Very interesting
I love this breakdown, very informative as always 👍🏻
Great explanation.
Let's hope that Tavares will recover completely.
Just found this channel absolutely amazing content definitely will be subing
Excellent explanation Doc! I hope you are able to continue these video's and the sports writers and shows pick this up and share it (I saw this from Steve Dangle's podcast) Subscribed and liked!!
Fascinating. Thanks for this perspective!
Life long habs fan but never want to see a player especially one like tavares who I've always cheered for as he's been such a big part of hockey Canada and represents his country so well . He's a class human being and I wish him all the best and hope he fully recovers quickly . 🙏
It was gut wrenching to watch and my jaw dropped the whole time. I wish him a speedy recovery🙏🏽
finaly the video i was searching for
VERY informative. Thank you, Dr!
Scary.. gave me chills when he fell back when he tried to get up..
How do you upload so fast? It's not human!!!
I was sick to my stomach watching this and honestly got a little teary eyed, I thought we were witnessing his career being ended and maybe even life altering injury (paralysis) also couldn’t help and think about his number baby and his wife and what she must’ve been thinking. Scary stuff but glad he’s home and apparently it was only a concussion.
Good discussion. The ‘medical staff’ were Athletic Therapists’. These health care professions are always the first onto the ice to deal with any injuries. See the Ontario Athletic Therapist Association.
Super-informative video, and holy warp-speed to posting! Amazing job man.
