@@golsonmoldon9455 textbook play trying to drive someone to the boards and pin them, guarantee you he didn’t intend to check him, chances are he was just trying to board pin him and Roy got thrown off balance
It always makes me feel kind of angry trying to balance my feelings about a player getting injured, but the player who injured him is trying to help him only to get plowed by his opponents.
Yeh but that hit looked really bad at full speed… even slow down that close to the boards to shove him from behind right on the numbers is a major penalty for a reason. He obviously wasn’t trying to purposefully injure him… but he intentionally shoved him from behind that close to the boards. It’s different if they lost an edge or accidentally hit someone from a bad angle… but from the replay the shove from behind was definitely on purpose. I don’t think the players that heard and saw their teammate get hit from behind and injured took the time to watch the replay and read his lips lol that looked and sounded bad bc technically it was . Take a cheap shot at someone and hurt them it doesn’t make it okay just bc they realize they actually hurt them in something like this.when emotions are high when someone hurts your teammate.

Props to Dumba and Fiala for both immediately to drop the play and check that the injured player is okay. Serious sportsmanship from the Wild. :)
