Better than the Tour de France. Those bus drivers are amazingly talented (and patient). Hats off!👍👌

Guide Dogs are wonderful service animals. Check in your local area. The dogs are retired after a certain age and they can use a loving after Home. Or you can train the Puppies. Some places can use more homes for the Puppies, learning what they will need to become Guide Dogs.
Either way, you will have a wonderful dog for a few years.

That was great, it reminded me of one of the trips i used to do from Newcastle Australia at 4am to Broken HIll arriving at 1230 am the next morning taking 20 hrs 30 mins travelling over 1300 kms and involve 3 trains, we had 30 mins to make it to a pizza shop in Broken Hill that shut at 1 am then catch the train back at 3am in the morning to retrace our path. Unfortunately we can no longer do this trip.

I'd like to do an Amtrak trip from San Diego to Maine. I think it can be done in three or four days.
The easternmost point of Maine accessible by public transportation is Perry, Maine, once a day, I believe.

@Lord Hosk It should only be three nights from lower Michigan, even if you stay overnight in a hotel in Chicago. It's a great trip, especially anytime besides the winter when you can't see very much.

Well done you two for another great railway adventure across the UK. Even showing us how to do sponsored rides. Never knew you could do that!!! What about the Shortest Train Ride Clips, you have done one program last year, where's the rest?!

Everywhere else in Penwith = quaint. Lands End = tacky artificial tourist trap. It definitely doesn't feel like the end of land in the way Lizard Point, or John O'Groats does.

@@sihollett Couldn't agree more! Lizard Point is more of a "end of the land" than Land's End. And the scenery is more spectacular. And the Most Southerly Cafe, almost on the cliff edge does superb cream teas!

It appears to be slightly more advantageous, time wise, FROM Thurso, than from Cornwall.
I think this is because there is a very early train for Scottish people to get to work, etc.
And there is no pre 9.30 premium fare on that remote line (Scotrail), as there is coming from Cornwall to Bristol, as elsewhere in England.
