Clapton Orient & The Somme 1916 - 2016 'They Took the Lead'

Clapton Orient became the first English Football League club
to volunteer en masse to serve King and Country during the Great War.
Orient players William 'Billy' Jonas, George Scott & Richard McFadden were all killed during the Battle of the Somme.
