By this logic, I guess you must not be travelling in any automobiles in India. Because absolutely all automobiles have parts that have been imported. I bro wana buy a mobile for creating instagram reels and video editing ...concused between iphone or pixel 8 ....pls help me to choose best mobile ....
The only thing I am surprised is that google is sticking to Tensar...Though it can make way better phones with SnapDragon and focus on their software game...where they can do wonders...
Even though it has a 50mp camera, it only takes shots in 12 MP's. It's something Google can possibly change with software updates but it's not yet done, don't know why.
I am getting pixel 8 for around 33k INR in the USA. Should I get that or choose pixel 7 which I am also getting for 25k INR in the USA. (Best buy, open box)
I recently bought pixel 8 and yes it's Amazing with the photos , decent video quality . Only issue is it heats up but for standard user like me , It's not worrisome. Also the processor is fine. Some people commenting here doesn't even have those top notch phones (processors) who get to dislike Tensor. It does its job well. I mean if you want anything complex to be handled fast , then go get a PC or even if you are a gamer then get ASUS or something else . Samsung and IPhone and Google are better for user experience and have their own advantages. Google lacks behind in processing but it's stock android feeling is awesome. So in a nutshell , you wouldn't feel that you are lacking behind in anything because pixel does it's job well in day to day usage .
Pixel is a very good phone and really captures nice pictures and videos and has wonderful interface but the issues I faced is 1. Overheating within a year of usage 2. No dedicated service centers but it’s handled by 3rd party and service by them is not that great as they returned me the phone without any service and overheating issues 3. There is an tiny issue with the Pixel 8: the antenna springs are pressing against the display cable. Over time, the display starts showing lines and may become damaged.
Im using pixel 8 and here is my review - So everything is great about it, camera is top-notch, good screen, smooth phone overall. BUT IF YOU WANT TO PLAY GAMES LIKE BGMI, GENSHIN IMPACT, then its NOT FOR YOU. Those kind of games lags. I would rather go with chinese phones if im gamer and have low budget.
I have it and i won't recommend this If u r a camera lover than get it otherwise no It heats way too much not fit for Indian environment Good things r missing - floating windows, internet speed meter, IR blaster, parallel space or clone apps, etc I personally miss floating window feature, xiomi phones have it Only reason i bought this is coz i got it for 32k which is good price for this phone otherwise no Would have gone for xiomi 14 civi The best thing i like is the screen size, it's super handy small phone
4th Poor or worst after sale service.... All these years Google didn't even consider improving after sale service in India. 5th Kachada chipset. Do you think that poor chipset will last for 7 yrs .Instead of renamed Exynos they should have gone with 8th Gen 2 (over clocked). Then I think maybe most of the people gone with pixel .
5 Reasons not to buy Pixel phones 1) Poor Charging speed with no Charger in the Box 2) Poor Processor not recommended for long term use. 3)Bad Battery backup 4) No back cover or screen guard availability at many places 5) Not for gaming
Just ask yourselves, do you really need this much processing and camera hardware orr would you like most of your money with you and get a decent phone with decent power that you actually need

Reasons not to buy a Pixel phone (yet):
1. Lack of service centres
2. Tensor chip (manufactured by Samsung)
3 the battery
Number 1 is pretty much the main reason NOT to buy any smartphone in India, regardless.
Reason 4(pro models)It's not possible to use a telephoto sensor for portrait shots, we can only use digital zoom.and 8 pro cost over 1 lakh
Reason no 5 :- if gas cylinder at your home got empty use this phone for 15 minutes and after that by its heat you can make food on it ....thnxxx
