2 things. The gameplay changed my complete opinion of this game after seeing it at the GAs. Secondly, I think you are getting really good at these short burst videos! Keep em up! You know...when you're not busy with like the 5 or 6 docs you're working on...or playing this game when it comes out LUL
I absolutely agree with this video, my only major complaint is the game has that generic "f2p battle royale" artstyle to it. But besides that, this game is stupidly fun
i am absolutely looking forward to a game finally putting grapplers in the forefront, i want all the collaborations with wrestling characters, give me Thunder, Jax, Tizoc, KOD, Zangief, Kanji, Hugo, Tager, Waldstein, Ramon, Angel, R. Mika, literally anyone from WWE, jell if we get pokemon give me Machamp, i don't care this thing looks hype
This game has the potential for a lot of crossovers and collaborations. Imagine getting Homer Simpsons, Peter Griffin and Richard Watterson in the roster just for example. Or videogames icons like Haggar, Zangief and Blanka. Or 80s icons like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Silvester Stallone and Mr. T. Or commercial mascots like Bibedun, Tony The Tiger and Mr. Clean.
Despite not being into online multi-player games, the idea of Rumbleverse checks a LOT of my interest boxes (Iron Galaxy is huge plus factor) but I'm really put off by the artstyle. I'm hoping customization will let me make someone I'm okay looking at, because the gameplay looks like it could be a lot of fun.
I didn't get a lot of footage on the outfits and appearances you can use to customize your character, but there were a lot. I'm sure you can make something more to your liking. I just cats haha.
Fighting games def have a problem with not having a lot of multiplayer appeal, and new stuff like this is just the kind of good good we need to fix that. I just hope the tutorials are even half as down as KI's
2 minutes in and I'm so fuckin glad you namedropped Prototype lmao, that game's movement, as far as traversing an open world goes, is second to none. Shame the rest of the game doesn't really hold up these days
The only thing I’m about worried about with regards to this game’s potential success is the fact that it’s developed in partnership with Epic Games. Not because of any ill will towards Epic (though there’s certainly lots of reasons to have ill will towards Epic, both legitimate and petty), but more because of them already having a big successful Battle Royal game in Fortnight. This no doubt gave Iron Galaxy invaluable feedback and support during development, but I can’t help but wonder how successful Epic will allow Rumbleverse to be? Because even if the success of a BR (or any game, really) is a bit of a coinflip regardless of quality, let’s say for the sake of argument that the game really takes off, at what point will Epic start to worry about how much its eating into Fortnight’s audience. There’s only so many hours in a day for people to play BR games; it’s why there’s usually only two to three that’s mega popular, while the others wallow in obscurity. So if Rumbleverse gets popular, it will inevitably canibalize Fortnight’s audience. And will Epic really allow that to happen, or even give it a chance to happen? Feels like partnering with Epic on a BR is a bit of a double edged sword. I’m genuinely hoping for the best for the game, though, because it seems to be doing a lot of things right, and in a unique way no other BR game is doing right now.
A note for your Hitbox documentary: Galaxian (yes, the one made by Namco back in 1979) had an alternate cabinet in Japan which used directional buttons instead of a two-way lever.
I'm so mad I get an invite but didn't see it in my email and missed the first look event 😭😭. They're doing another one next year (hopefully early 2022 and I won't miss it this time)
The battle royal genre is NOT crowded. There is only a few that people actually know of.We need more br games. This game looks awesome and definitely gonna play it. The more battle royals the better.
The more I see of this game the more I want to try it. Hopefully they just go full cosplay with future character customisation and let you make your favourite FG characters
This game looks like maaaaaad fun! Many of my friends are willing to give it a shot so I hope it will be a gateway for them into fighting games before riot's Project L drops.
Not a fan of the art style, but I'm interested, though I'm not going to use Epic and I doubt the anti-cheat will allow a Linux player anyways. Also, February is _packed_ yo.
Bought my Early Access kit as soon as I saw Sajam playing it, wish it wasn't two months away (Note, you don't need to buy it, it just guarantees a spot)
Didn't this idea get pitched by the Best Friends Zaibatsu on a podcast episode? Like, almost exactly? Not complaining, mind you. This looks extremely My Kinda Shit.
F2P = Yes Art Style = No Gameplay = Yes Epic Games Store Exclusive = NO The art style is unappealing to me, so I don't feel any connection to any of the characters. However, the gameplay looks fun and amazing, but I won't be playing it because it isn't on Steam.
The trailer completely turned me off, but after hearing so many people say how fun it is and actually watching it, I definitely want to give it a shot.
Ye the initial reveal trailer was one of the worst trailers I've ever seen. Looks fun enough in action though just wish the art style wasn't this horrible
This is the closest we’ll ever get to the Anarchy Reigns BR/MOBA hybrid game I’ve been dreaming of for years, so I’ll take it, even if the art style is pretty whack
The announcement trailer was awful, Iron Galaxy had my attention but the trailer itself really turned me away. Thanks for making this short video, it was significantly more informative and I'm actually willing to give the game a shot now.
I hate everything about the art style, but the rest looks pretty neat. I saw Sajam play it and it definitely looked fun... Still, I wish it didn't look like every battle royale that came after Fortnite.
Yeah that trailer was awful. I think there's a lot of unwarranted "this looks like fortnite" thrown around any time a game isn't hyper-realistic but as a fan of fortnite and fortnite's art/style that trailer made rumbleverse look like a freakin mobile game. After seeing just a brief glimpse of gameplay on twitter I'm sold. They should have just put some damn gameplay in the trailer.
I just hope is doesn't do any of the dumb ideas apex legends did. That game was amazing then the kept nerfing and buffing shit to the point it just looked overwatch.
Not a fan of the art style, but literally everything else is pretty hype. I hope it gets the recognition I think it deserves.
I love the art style lmao
If you dont like the art style you have a problem
This didn’t age well 💀🤦♂️

That's my secret Captain, I'm always busy
"Like Hulk Ultimate Destruction or Prototype"
Oh no, now it's going to take over MY life.
This video actually makes me want to try this with my friends, thanks for the heads up!
Definitely playing the crap out of this when it releases. Thanks for making a video on it. This game deserves a good playerbase.
Here's hoping!

Can you imagine nailing Tizoc with a Sweet Chin Music from HBK, only to turn around and get hit by a Pot buster
huhhhh none of those are the classic wwe wrestlers mannn we need The Undertaker, Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy, Eddie Guerrero
No love for 3D grapplers, eh?

I could really feel it a few games in. I love how easy it is to get around the map and cause mayhem.
@@Holdbacktoblock Movement is usually the main thing that draws me to a fighting game so I can't wait to try it for myself 😈😈😈
RIP Rumbleverse 😢
Anyone else trying to catch these come (paws) February?
I signed up for the access beta, got in, the event happened and finished during a 14 hour cross country 2 plane trip...
Just like my opponents, your plans got kicked off a building.

Literally no reason for you or anyone to be complaining about a new br game thats being made with epic games considering they literally made fortnite.

I'll look into this. Thanks!
I'm so glad that Iron Galaxy is getting a chance to build something sick from the ground up

I’m so excited for this!
I could not stop laughing like crazy whenever people were unknowingly fighting beneath me about to get atomic elbow dropped
does this count as a fighting game? 🤔🤔🤔
1:00 A MiSTer doc, huh 👀
Working on something fighting game related, but if it does well might do something even bigger in the future.
I'm incredibly hype for this
Here's to hoping this video gets to at least 50k views. This video definitely took a lot of effort.
Tell all your friends. And your enemies.

Hopefully this drops soon

When you try to purchase an Early Access Pack from Japan, you'll see "This content is currently unavailable on the platform or region."(Japan)
Grandma? Grandma nuts
It looks so much fun I can’t wait to try it out a fighting game Battle Royale, sign me up
My only question is: can you play it on Hit Box? lol
Anything is possible if you believe.

I definitely want to play but it only being on epic store is a turnoff for me.
forgot to comment but this should be the official trailer tbh lol
Yes I won't the game is Edgeley coming out tomorrow
Okay 100% that trailer was dog water in showing what this game was
Bought my Early Access kit as soon as I saw Sajam playing it, wish it wasn't two months away

If it is published by Epic, then it is out of my consideration (though for less heinous reasons than Activision Blizzard, Rockstar, and Ubisoft).

Wow! A cartoony free to play battle royale by Epic!
