- At the crack of dawn, at 3am, 73-year-old Mr. Loh kicks off his day at his stall. For over three decades since 1988, he's dedicated to dishing out his culinary creations - Shanghai noodle and Lor Mee. The Shanghai noodle, a crowd favorite, presents a heaping plate of silken white noodles enveloped in a rich, savory gravy, crowned with a succulent slice of either chicken or pork chop.
The Lor Mee offers a hearty mix of yellow flat noodles and beansprouts, soaked in a lusciously thick braised sauce, generously topped with braised pork belly, a soft-boiled egg, and golden-brown fried dory for that extra crunch. Each bowl is elevated with a dollop of fiery homemade chili, fragrant minced garlic, and a splash of vinegar, weaving together a symphony of flavours that tantalize the taste buds.
