This is what we call top tier content!! Mainstream media will not show this. Truly captivating and scenic but at the same time very dangerous road. It needs expansion and cctv cameras to capture rogue drivers. Thank you sir!!
Thank you so much Bonny. Your support is highly appreciated. Our prayer is that we keep growing and producing better and better documentaries about Kenya.
I have used this road for 4 years straight while in uni at Narok and we always maneuvered smoothly. Never saw it as a big deal actually. You get used to it over time. And as crazy as it might sound accidents rarely happen on that stretch. God has a way of protecting his people
We have dangerous and careless drivers who cause these accidents, truck drivers can also be very exhausted after many hours on the road and they can lose concentration. The worst is when there is a broken down truck and it cause traffic for miles.
Its called being lucky. There is no getting used to trucks and madmen overtaking recklessly looking to take you out. Imba tu Mungu hapo kwani wenye wanakufa si watu wa Mungu
I have viewed that tiny church from the road as long as I can remember (and am now a senior), but this si the first time I have seen the inside, albeit remotely. Thanks for the wonderful piece!
When God blessed me with my current car, a Toyota Ractis, I fuelled it upto full tank, where I drovwe my family to Maai Mahiu. My wife was amazed by the stunning views of the escarpment. She would talk with amazement as I drovwe the car slowly down the escarpment, and at one point, I had to stop at a curio shop for her to see well. Its true that we had a good view of the scenic escarpment. God protected us to Maai Mahiu and back.
This is amazing content. From mainstream media to creating content worth watching. I am a lover of documentaries and feature stories. This a good job Enoch. Hope you need a young journalist to hold the boom mic for you. Ready to learn.
Thank you for highlighting this we hope the government officials (who always fly in choppers) can see the need to upgrade this road to better standards
This is where I come from *escapmen*it's a Beautiful place indeed 💗 may God give all journey Mercies 🙏one thing about that road "maimahiu" it's where trackers pass mostly it's very scary tbh 😩
This road just needs a two lines on either side but now the road is 24hrs busy. Though dangerous it may look, accidents are very rare coz there is too much attention from the drivers coz any slight mistake. Good content on this road. It is one of the best scenes when traveling upcountry
This video reminds me back then when I was i primary school.on weekends and holidays..I and my age mates and our mothers used to flequent that place to fetch firewood..
Nice documentary. The government should prioritize upgrading this section of the road because of it's great potential. On a lighter note, i was told by one historian that Mai Mahiu is a corrupted Maasai word 'Meimayu' meaning impassable(Haipitiki). I would kindly wish to visit the hot spring in that area, just in case there is any.
Very good piece. Your drone operator was very lucky. I once lost a drone there while filming due to extremely strong winds. I guess I went filming at the wrong hour when the winds were furious.

I have really missed Enock Sikolia in mainstream media ..he did a tremendous job there especially the report about sun and guns in Tiaty,Baringo County

Great piece, I would have loved if you had followed the truck the whole way as you give us history of Kenya along the travel route
Mr your work is such addictive
The Tigoni mau summit expressway should be prioritized and leave this road for tourists and travelers.
Tell that to all the lorries. This road is actually very crucial.
So many lorries...
Can't wait to see this road project implementation
Where's tigoni mau summit expressway situated at?
u live in Kenya bt u don't kno which road goes where
The only way I use to go home from Nairobi.... To kisii nice contant many pple never show us this to the world 🌎🌎

Why am late for this😟😟 nice doc.
The problem is not the road is the drivers who don't follow rules and disregard any road signs and human life value.
Amazing Documentary 🔥🔥

hit this road in the evening during pick rush hours or those vasha weekends, its the true test of your driving skills and patience.
True and very tricky. But patience is key...or else.....

Moi used this rd all the time going to AIC Kijabe and sadly he didn't do anything to improve it

Good suggestions and I think many of our roads need such modernisation. It also reduces corruption.
Good job Sikolia
Thanks James. Be blessed
This is the best. The government elect officials should be bringing these pictures and videos up during Senate discussions for budgeting.
