Kevin Paradiddles !! 🤘🏻😈🤘🏻
wow great video! I realize several things. I played 15 years ago 😅, so now goin back step by step 🎶
That paradiddle was absolutely ridiculous.
I started to practive "clear" write movement at slower tempos (170-180 bpm) with "reverted" stick (I mean hitting with butt end of the stick). And almost next day I noticed impact. My wrists kinda woke up and started working in more fficient and relaxed way which also helped to incorporate fingers.
Whole video is worth watching and subscribing to academy, go for it ppl.
Thank you!
It’s so clean dude
Kevin is a BEAST!!!
This is so satisfying at 5:38 :)
Amazing! Thanks for the video🔥
Kevin is a master of his craft!
True that
I learned so much watching this. Thank you!
Thank you for this insightful valuable lesson. People always say use practice pads but your explanation of WHY and when to use them was very helpful to me. My ears thank you.
love this
I do practice sitting on the couch but with the pad on a proper snare stand. I struggle with singles though... it feels like it's not for me but I'm slowly improving - slower than anything else. All other rudiments have been improved massively. It's time saver as well to practice while watching tv and my wife doesn't care at all 😄 Thanks for the video!
this is Grindcoooreeee 🎉
wow. this was amazing.
sehr inspirierend ! thx 🤘
Damn that’s fast 💨 as FFFFF
I like the way and speed you play paradiddles !!!! Wow !!!!
Incredible
5 of 5, not bad for me. Got those tips from years of struggling so go get classes kids. Great video!
Slower tempo for kevin = 350 bpm
Thanks!!! lml Very usefull!!!
Thanks for this video!!!
🙏 thx for watching
The best push pull drummer in the world for me,thanks marthyn for this masterpiece 👊🔥
Check out Blastbeatology 🤯
He can "Hate" Samus all he fucking wants with skills like that!!!
They kissed and made up
@rohanpogii he say it himself, its a fact not a gossip.
Beast!
What’s this guys name? Kevin who?
It's correct that you mast practice on a pad what works on a real drum, it's the actual motion of the hands , many wave and what works well is like climbing a rope turning the hands ,something to try for many ,works here
Kevin is definitly one of the most bald drummer if this metal world, French metal drummer should know him as much as Joey Jordison, in all drums dimensions, Kevin really know his job. Thx for made this video Marthyn !
hes not bald, silly
Dude that paradiddel was nasty
Ah so that's the secret, you just push the back end of your snare stick up with your leg =P But seriously you have the most fluent technique I've ever seen. Awesome!
7:59 what devolops this exercise?
I practice 'Paradis-ddles'
Kevin just casually flexing his paradiddles at insane speeds as if they're nothing. 😆
paradiddles are def underused in metal
Scorpion Percussion #becomeimmortal !
Paradis(dle)?
is it normal if my wrist hurt when doing it fast
CAN THIS BE APPLIED TO JAZZ FUSION DRUMMING?
Absolutely, how was your progress
#paradiddles 👊
9:07 What Devourment song is this lol
Have seen one bloke from russia who plays open close to an incredible level.
Very clean and professional, but i'd like to see 300 bpm without push and pull.
Lord Marco
Dennis Rondum Spawn of Possession
Jan benkwitz aka blastphemer
I notice how the top muscles of the wrist are developed to coordinate with the bounce….hence power. Been watching the wrist videos. Thank you very much….Practice your air drumming style.
What kind of sorcery is this??...! XO
Am I the only one not seeing the paradiddles in this vid 🙃
They don't call him Kevin "the paradiddle" paradis for nothing
Just surprised how far towards the middle of the stick his fulcrum point is. I don't get any power out of that grip
I feel like it's all about stick length too, I have small hands so long sticks have too much back end weight for me so I slide up the stick quite far also
next
- roy ibrahim 15th years old, deadsquad
- oki fadlan from jasad
thanks before
Good advice, but I don't want to use a pad when my kit is 6 feet away from me!
Ok
Step 1: Open incognito mode
😃👍
"Alrighty then"
Slowdown tempo... still not my tempo
So, practice.
It is not clear whether you use wrist or fingers above 150 bpm
It all depends on where you are in your progress. I would say aim towards being able to use wrist until around 180-200 bpm.
It depends
"Medium".....
