Great video - when I put the 2 20lb plates in, the wire comes out of the bottom and through the cumberbun - is there a way to more fully secure the very end of ea h wire?
The front of my vest sits up high right where I want it, but the back part feels like it hangs down an inch too low on my back…..there’s no way to adjust the back up without making the front go up with it, is there? When you adjust the wire higher it makes the front and back come up higher together right? So when I shorten it, it will make the front too high for me? Sorry if that’s confusing but thanks if you can answer…..
Makes total sense. You are setting the front higher (or closer to your neck) than the back. If you want the back to be the same distance to your neck as the front, you'll have to shorten the opening in the same manner. Depending on your torso length, this may feel more or less comfortable. Hope this helps.
@@1936rivercityfitness I have the same problem. Your answer doesn't make sense. There is no way to adjust the height of the back alone. As you shorten the straps there it's shortening the length for the front and back. I've also found that the strap covers don't fit right after shortening the length. Overall it not a very well fitting plate carrier if you're going to actually use it as intended, it very comfortable but doesn't fit if you're on the medium or smaller side. Every crossfit women I've seen in the promo images the fit is horrible off of where you'd want to be positioned for ballistic protection.
@@pmayh3m thanks for the comment. You are 100% correct that the back can’t be adjusted alone. So the challenge is positioning the vest to your most comfortable position. I personally don’t have anything to speak to in regards to ballistics, sorry.
@@1936rivercityfitness Brill. Had a vest today. Very similar to the one you had. Just got to make some minor adjustments. Your video was very helpful. 👍
Ur video helped me out about 80%.. had trouble with the cummerbund, finally figured it out. Thanx.
Sad that the 511 tactical video they made is useless compared to this.
Thanks alot.
Thanks for the video. I've been trying find out how to do this for ages.

The only thing that seemed to work was looping the wires a second time through the cumberbund before tucking the excess in the bottom.
@@1936rivercityfitnesswill try that !!! Thanks for the response
Thank you sir!

Are those morale patches velcro'd straight to the carrier fabric?
Yes. The 511 vest has a good amount of space to add Velcro patches if you want.
great video, thanks !!
Top man.
So you can adjust the cumberband the same I assume?
plenumboy You got it. Once the cable is removed, the cummerbund is able to shift out or in.
