Out of curiosity which bore cleaner do you use in the spray bottle? Old school Hoppes bore cleaner and oil here. The spray bottle appears to get the surfaces coated better.
I used to use hoppes. When I started making these videos, I started trying out other solvents and oils. I believe I'm using Shooter Lube in this video. I will be having my own brand of solvent and oil available soon.
I liked it. The solvent I'm coming out with is just as good, if not a little better. And the oil is excellent! Literally dumped 300 rounds in my ar15 to see if the oil could handle the heat and speed of an AR, didn't have one issue.
@@reverendguns Many homemade mixtures out there. I don't use enough of it to change. Will stick with Hoppes. However may use the spray bottle as you did.
This is my favorite gun that I own. I have a CZ 75 SP-01 TACTICAL and I prefer the Canik (The CZ is still sweet though). Thank you for the video brother. I own the elite as well so i will check that video out too. I recently bought the TP9 ELITE subcompact. It's a cool little gun. Do you have a video on that one? Would the cleaning be any different? Sorry for the long comment. I just subscribed ✊
No problem! I'm glad you liked the video! I haven't gotten ahold of the subcompact yet, but I will make a video when I do! My video for cleaning the Canik TP9SF Elite would be the same as doing the Elite Subcompact. It's just a smaller version of it. Thank for the subscribe! Please share my videos!
Any cleaning kit will work. Just make sure it has the caliber sizes you need for your pistols. I typically buy individual pieces so I only replace what I need.
I would do it when you're done shooting for the day. If you're shooting 500 or 600 rounds, I would keep a bore snake with you and pass it through the barrel every few hundred rounds.
Short of being able to eat it, the solvent I use claims and I quote "Odorless - No Water - Fully Evaporates - Leaves No Residue - No Hazardous Ingredients per EPA - High Flashpoint - Non-Corrosive - Does Not Freeze - Not Flammable" so I tried it without gloves and had no issues. You'll notice in my videos before I started using this solvent, I would wear gloves.
Watch out. The justice brothers are coming for you. That's a Rush Limbaugh term for the "reverend al sharptoungue, and the reverend jesse yackson." A couple of guys who should be in prison.

@@reverendguns Thanks. The coat appears to be light enough and does a good job.

Yeah the spray bottle is helpful. I have open just enough to spray and it easily coats the parts.

@@reverendguns hell yeah brother!
What’s your cleaning kit ?
Any cleaning kit will work. Just make sure it has the caliber sizes you need for your pistols. I typically buy individual pieces so I only replace what I need.
After how many rounds do you clean?
I would do it when you're done shooting for the day. If you're shooting 500 or 600 rounds, I would keep a bore snake with you and pass it through the barrel every few hundred rounds.

🤣 some of you catch my subtle jokes
You don’t use any gloves?

@@reverendguns got you , new to your page. Have the same firearm and was curious on how other go about cleaning their guns.
