    Hello,
I am a A&P mechanic developing the skills and experience to get the Inspector Authorization (IA) rating. How far in aviation can on go with the IA rating?

Your vision is your limit boss. My IA was two fold; i wanted to be able to sign off Annuals but also wanted the prestige of being a Inspector. Now I want to be a DME and a DAR and I’m sure having my IA will help. This will help me move into and thrive in a consulting space.

Make an appointment with a FAA FSDO office in the states and tell them your situation. They will tell you how to move forward.

I wish you could have turned up the volume on the music a bit more.

Sir I’m an AC mechanic not a professional videographer/editor so sometimes the production isn’t perfect however the information given is true. Hopefully you got something out of it.

@@aviationmaintenancepodcastI love the music and I can still hear you. 😊 I'm a 39 yr old mom in CT (I used to skydive and was an E.M.T. and I'm really thinking about learning how to fix planes.) Just started looking stuff up today...time for a change. Do you know of any schools where you can get the knowledge online and then do a night class or something that allows one to take care of their kid and learn as you go? I need to look more up. Nice videos :)

Sorry. I’m an aircraft mechanic, not a video editor but did my best. I appreciate the feedback

@@aviationmaintenancepodcast I passed my A&P in early 2020 all 3 the first time. I plan on doing my IA in a year. I found them to be great people, however, you need to get to know them. I understand, everyone can't get along with everyone. Too bad IMHO, you missed a great experience. Rick b
