Congratulations, Jordan! Well done. Wish you much success as your career unfolds.
Congrats to Jordan, and proud I had a tiny part to play in your success! Now it’s time for a pay rise chat ;-)
Congratulations from a retired Canadian Aircraft Maintenance Engineer!! GOOD for you!!!
Well done Jordan, you restore the faith of a younger generation ready to take over an industry that is ageing out. As they say, The Sky is the Limit, you have a great career and life ahead of you. 👍
Congratulations to both of you girls. And here's a nickels worth of free advice from a 40 + year A&P if an FAA Inspector walks up on you and ask questions aside from having the most current revision of the AMM on you for what you're working on. If he or she ask you anything. Don't say I don't know or give an answer. ALLWAYS SAY I'll have to look that up. Because they don't want you committing anything to memory. Like tire pressures or wheel nut torques and so on.
So true! Always tell them or anyone else for a matter of fact, let me look it up in the AMM!
GREAT advice.
Congrats to Jordan and good luck to Andrea on her new position.
I just had a gentleman in my store 30 minutes ago with a Baker's School of Aeronautics t-shirt. Coincidences are crazy
Congratulations Jordan, and a big shout out to JB for promoting the fund raiser. Two young ladies who are an example to all. Hard work and an evident passion for what you do. Respect!
After 4 years of Air Force as a aircraft mechanic and crew chief I thought I knew just about everything to pass the A&P F.A.A. test, boy was I wrong, the only section that I passed was hydraulics so I congratulate both of them for their achievement
Same here. When I took the practice test post active duty, while in the guard, I realized how little I knew. I spent a year working on spam cans and that’s truly what enabled me to pass the A&P. I too went to Bakers in Nashville. Great people there.
Congratulations, Jordan!! Thank you, Juan for taking an interest in others careers in aviation. That sets you apart!
Congratulations, Jordan!,all the best for the future
Im glad somebodies improving themselves.
Memorization..no kidding..i had fun remembering what every circuit breaker inside the tube of a p3 Orion protected..what a chore it is. Keep em flying
Andrea (sp) - Thank you for your service, from a 76 year old Vet. I am very impressed and happy you are putting your service experiences toward an Aviation future. Way To Go!
Congratulations Jordan !! And @blancolirio, way to feed the sparkle in her eyes. Long may Jordan feel great about herself, her life, the world, and what will be her many contributions to a better world. Live long and prosper !
That is awesome, Jordan! CONGRATULATIONS!!
I like to see these great women succeed in aviation. They are so talented and very likeable people. Congratulations and much success. Bravo
Congratulations!
I was able to get my A&P in one year at an approved school. The school was actually a Junior College. We attended classes 8 hours a day 5 days a week. If we missed a day we had to make up the hours. I got you beat Jaun. I received my A&P in 1976. By 1978 I was working for MacDonnell/Douglas.
Got mine on July 30 1992.
Got mine in 1976 also - from Northrop Institute of Technology in Inglewood, CA.
Impressive young women, Congrats
Congrats Jordan! AA is hiring. We need you!
Congratulations, Jordan Fantastic accomplishment and continued success.
Congrats to Jordan on passing all her exams and now being qualified . It's nice to see young kids, especially girls involved in such a great trade with great skills & prospects. Their enthusiasm is fabulous and I wish you both all the very best.
Outstanding Jordan! As quick as you can that IA. Congratulation's!!!
Nice to see young people furthering their educations, particularly into technical careers.
Well done Jordan. Bakers are the best! As a 35 year Aussie LAME, I went to Bakers in 2014 and picked up my A+P. You have the rest of your career in front of you! You go Girl!
Lights of hope for the future. Congratulations to both of these young professionals.
First of all., congrats Jordan!! Best of luck.
I’ve been a A n P since 1978, now retired. Here’s a bit of advice the inspector told me when I did my power plant practical. He said, congrats your now a A n P. The last two years of school were just a background, NOW, you can go out and learn.
All the best !!
18 years in the field now, heavy jet experience here. We need more techs. Lots of opportunities and good paying jobs out there. Good luck and have fun.
I came into the military with Andrea, we worked a lot together. She's great.
Congrats to Jordan! 🎉🎂🎉 and Juan for getting the word out.🤙
I’m so glad to have been a donor for this young beautiful lady. More young people like her are needed to keep the
GA movement alive and strong. Congrats Jordon, you have a great future ahead of you.
Congratulations Jordan! Thanks for the update JB.
Take care and fly safe. 🤟🏼🖖🏼
As a sheetmetal/composite mechanic I know how it feels to finally have your papers. Congrats Jordan and good luck on your future endeavours.
Well done from a 43 year A/P. Best of luck, my only comment is what my CFI dad said to "Always be dead right or people end up dead," with your skills.
Congrads to both young ladies! Love to see the passion. Got my A&P 40 years ago. Did my testing at Sacramento GADO at Executive Airport and took oral and practical Sac CC. Went on to work general aviation at Cameron Park, Main Air. Our specialty was Navion restoration along with single and twin general maintenance and annuals. Was one of the most rewarding jobs I have ever had. Wish you all the best.
Awesone!!
Cool beans...
Love to see that great enthusiasm... I remembered my stuff as they were talking...
Now Juan, get them to get their FCC ticket too.. You know as i, the airlines pay for 2 tickets, but first hire those with all 3.
Ahhh the practical.
They knew I worked for United, so instead of turbine stuff, they made me do jugs and stitching.. Just to make sure I was paying attention to all things... Bastards!!!
Got to love the FAA.
After 48 years airline, it's great to see these youngsters jumping in... Let them know we're proud of them. Always count your tools!!! Take care of your dog!!!
Congratulations to both of these dedicated women.
I hope your future careers are very successful. Your diligence will hopefully lead you to where you intended to go.
Best of luck ladies.
Congrats, Jordan! So glad this worked out for you. I'm taking my airframe orals and practicals next Saturday. Hoping for a good result like yours!
Jordan as the District Chair of the Aviation Steering Committee for the George T. Baker Aviation Technical College here within in Miami, Florida of the Miami Dade Public School System congratulations on your achievement. Well done as we say in the Navy “Bravo-Zulu” BZ!
Juan - That is so awesome for both of those young ladies !!! - You probably will never understand how much you have done for them. Congrats !!!! - I just love how truly involved you are in the WHOLE aviation community. Much appreciated from out here !!!!
Cheers !
As a 35+ year AMT at a major Airline having the AMM /SRM/IPC/SB/EA / Drawings/ ect and any other pertinent information available at the actual location of the job at/ on the aircraft .
If we were doing a Fuselage Structure Repair we had the most current Boeing SRM Reference printed off and taped on the Fuselage in the area where we were doing the repair. We found out that the FAA Inspectors liked this procedure. This answers a lot of potential questions because the FAA Inspector can look at the SRM reference and look at the job in progress.
One of the most important words for Maintenance References is EFFECTIVITY.
It is great that you have accomplished this and chosen a very good profession. I grew up around GA and AG Aviation and still love them today but went to a major airline for the money and benefits. It has been a very good career.
Juan- thank you for helping raise money and encouraging these young ladies in this profession.
Woo Hoo! I also got my A&P at Sacramento City College. Most appropriately, I got my A&P license on April Fools' Day 2000! Congratulations ladies.
Way to go Jordan and enjoy the classes Andrea
Congrats for surviving Baker’s, Jordan! In the great state of TN where E-veryone I-s R-edneck, drinking 151 365 days a year 😉
Outstanding! Congrats!
Congratulations, Jordan! (and thank you for your service, Andrea!) So many wonderful opportunities ahead of you. I look forward to you bringing your much needed perspectives to aviation.
Congratulations Jordan. Well deserved. Enjoy your career as an A&P wrencher. I got my A&P on the day I turned 18 in 1965. I've been with it ever since. You'll do well.
Putting something back is another proof of your passion for aviation, Juan. A mentor who is respected in a young person’s field of interest means everything. Best to these ladies. You are off to a great start and we who are main cabin flyers like to think that all pilots are like Juan and all maintenance engineers are as bright and skilled as Jordan and Andrea.
CONGRATULATIONS JORDAN!!!!
Awesome well done Jordan!
Congratulations and well done Jordan!! Pursue your aviation passion with everything you can. Always ......
Excellent job Jordan. Your hard work has paid off.
Way to go Jordan! Congratulations. I hope you are as proud of your accomplishment as we all are.
Congrats Jordan! Outstanding job and it was a total pleasure to be able to support you with a donation.
And thanks a ton to Juan for getting behind Jordan and rallying the troops to get them involved in this effort!
I’ve had my A&P for 45 years plus military crew chief and it’s been a very rewarding career especially if you can get on with the airlines. There is definitely a shortage of mechanics especially with heavy experience and even more if you can do sheet metal. Congratulations
When you sign your name to the job, it had better be done right or you get to spend time with an attorney sooner than you think. 😆
Congrats, went through A&P school late 80's. Discovered I was a terrible mechanic. Got my dream job 1 week before testing. Never finished. It was a very good learning experience. Had WW2 era instructors. All gone now. Great people.
Congratulations 👏🎉
So awesome 😎
Congratulations Jordan, from a fellow A&P (retired)! Cheers, and Godspeed.
Great job ladies ! Thanks so much for all of your hard work and dedication !
Bravo Jordan & Andria !
Congratulations! Be proud! Do well! Much sucess to you in all your endeavors!
Congratulations to your achievements Jordan and this is a blessing and you will always be getting calls from FBOs that need A&Ps and I know Your family has got to be very proud and so does Juan
Congratulations
Congratulations ladies.
Props to the new A&P and to the up and coming!
I see what you did there, lol.
Congrats Jordan!! I've been looking at going to the same schooling to bump up my book knowledge and the practical stuff too, so that I can try and get my A&P (finally)!! Also congrats Andrea on the new position and for getting to the schooling following after your military time... Wish I had been able to swing that following my time in AD!!
Well done to both. Congrats from Australia.
This is a BIG DEAL - for Jordan and the future of aviation. Way To Go.
Thank you for all your hard works - the future is ready to greet you!!
Very impressive! Thanks for highlighting these two.
Congratulations !! Ladies with Wrenchs ROCK!
Excellent to have such seasoned A&P's so close.
Congratulations Jordan and good luck to Andrea.
Congratulations, Jordan!
Congratulations Jordan!! Awesome achievement. You have done us proud! Thanks Juan for letting it s be a part of this.
Sac city prepped us well for the exams. Congrats to their success ✌️
Congratulations Jordan!
This is such a great story. Why can't our country get behind this and STOP politics.
I got my A&P and IA at Baker School about 7 years ago. I had gone to a A&P school back in 1972 but never got my license. A friend talked me into going. Baker is the best and really know what their doing.
Congrats Jordan.
Congratulations. It will be a great career without a college degree that’s awesome.
Congratulations Jordan.I am happy for you and wish you great success. Glad I could help a little.
Congratulations. I graduated with my A&P in 1991 and have had quite the career. Always enjoy where you work or find somewhere else to work. BE SAFE ALWAYS
Congrats ladies!
Congratulations 🎉
Good to see the young ones moving forward at speed with a purpose.
If only I had something with an A&P they could work on....
Congratulations.
Glad to be all small part of this for Jordan
Congratulations, Jordan, proud of you!! I’m honored to have contributed to your cause.
Seeing young people like them renews my faith that general aviation will continue! Huge congratulations!
Certificates such as this beat an overpriced largely worthless college education. Big 👍👏👏👏
YES!!!! Well done and congratulations!
Congratulations Jordan. Good luck to both of them on their careers!
Congratulations! Here's to many years of A&P work to you!
Good Job!!!
I am glad to see women finding their place in the workshop. The variety of skills learned on aircraft will also offer opportunities on anything that needs to be fixed, motorcycle or bulldozer.
GIRL POWER!! I love it. So proud of these two. I’ll echo what others are saying, we need smart well trained young people like this to keep the planes flying.
Awsome job Ladies! Well Done!
Congratulations 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Good work, ladies. You will make flying safer and more reliable for a lot of people.
