Loved the video. This foundation is one of the many things I can thankfully say you have influenced me to buy. I actually traded in points at Sephora for $100 gift card and only paid the $35 for it. It will always be in my collection! Thanks 🤗🤗🤗
Yeeees! That’s how you use your points, girl 🙌🏾.
I fell in love with LaMer after you recommended it and I picked it up at the CCO. Once I’m done with TF Shade & Illuminate, I’ll pick it up again. My shade is Sepia.
LaMer is my holy grail foundation too. Sienna is my shade. You look flawless my dear.
It is a beautiful foundation.
Great video. I purchased this foundation after your recommendation. It quickly became my Holy Grail. 😍🥰😍
Ah! I love your personality...subscribing now!!! 😊And yes, the LaMer foundation in Chestnut is my baby. The only issue I have is the fragrance component but I got over it. Lol It's beautiful.
Thank you and welcome to the J-Bae fam 🥰🤗
Love the video. Thanks for reviewing for us.
La Mer is also my holy grail and I wear Sienna. I wish they had a shade a 1/2 deeper than Sienna but the same undertone. Chestnut is too dark and neutral for me. I will only purchase during a sale/gift card and literally use 1/2 pump for my entire face. A bottle lasts me appx 7 months with daily use. Therefore the price is doable.
Now that’s a cost per where I can get behind! Mixing these two shades gives me my perfect shade as well. I do also wish that Siena was just a hair darker. Then I wouldn’t need Chestnut.
You look flawless! I need to get Sienna...thank you beautiful!!
The price has gone up. I have 2 of them Sienna and Amber. I paid $140 each. They both work for my skin but the Amber seems to work better with my undertone and the Sienna matches but it's a little ashy and tends slightly dark, where as Amber tends slightly light but the undertone(yellow/gold) makes it melt into my skin.. I love them both. When I went in to Nordstrom I went in to get the Amber from an online match but I let the La Mer sales lady chose and she choose Sienna but when I told her that I expected to use Amber she put one one one side and one on the other and told me either will work it's just what's my personal preference. I went with the Sienna and ended up going back a couple of weeks later for the Amber.
Whew! Inflation is hitting everything 😓 but yea I kind of see this as a good thing that we can use two shades and they still work just in case one is out of stock.
Its beautiful. ❤
It really is!
$125? No wonder it looks so good on your skin! 😲
As I was looking for retailers carrying this foundation, it looks like they’ve gone up $10 on the price so it’s $135 now. Still a great foundation. I’ve spent more on the TF Shade & Illuminate and I have three of those 😶 you can definitely pay less than $100 for it though.
Thanks
Great video! Blessings and hugs!
My absolute absolute favorite. All because of this beautiful lady Victoria James #teamsienna
The face is SERVING!!!! Would u say the shade chestnut is equivalent to cle de peau in shade b90?
I’d say B90 is a mix of both of these shades. More of a spot on match for me.
Nice video! I use Chesnut.
Hi Victoria loved this video! This is one of the most informative videos on foundation I’ve ever come across! Thank you for all of these details on this foundation and where to purchase it for half price! Does Sephora carry this? And how does this compare to Pat McGrath’s foundation, which is my favorite 😍 Thank you!
Thank you so much. I’m glad this video was helpful and informative. SEPHORA does carry it I have it linked in the description box for you.
@@VictoriaJamesLux Thanks! How does the Lamer compare to Pat Mcgrath’s foundation?
Thank You gurlfriend.....I REALLY APPRECIATE THE TIPS AND THE HELP WITH SAVING COINS😁😁😁😁
I will definitely have to mix la mer (sienna with a splash of chestnut), so I stay away. Too expensive in Canada 😄 I'm neutral, as well.
I totally understand. I’d love an in between shade.
Does the foundation transfer?
No. Now I say no with a reasonable caveat. If your face is set and you happen to sweat if you dab your face with a tissue or paper towel it will not transfer. If you fall asleep on a pillow then you will leave some of it on the pillow. I hope that’s helpful
@@VictoriaJamesLux This was VERY helpful. I will definitely buy this when a sale comes up. I value your honesty!!! Thank you so much 💖
I may be the only one on the planet that this foundation is just so-so for me. Definitely not repurchase worthy for me and I feel so left out 😅
Please don’t feel left out! Everything is it for everybody. There are plenty of foundations that I think are absolutely amazing but if I was stranded on a desert island LaMer would be the Foundation I’d bring. If I couldn’t bring LaMer, I would bring Suqqu’s The Liquid Foundation
Thanks for the video! I have to say that after watching you on the previous channel vs this channel I would like to say that you possibly should add some videos with different content rather it being reviewing tv shows, hacks, commenting on what’s going on in the world, lifestyle, etc.. I would strongly recommend you investing in lighting. You spend too much money and we’re not able to get a clear picture of how your makeup looks. You definitely need to improve the lighting before you spend another dime on makeup because we can’t see how your makeup really looks and the eyeshadow looks one and the same. It’s not showing your skills. Reach out to fellow creators and have them link your channel and be honest about a brand. If it sucks say so! Your complexion is in the range where your videos should be popping up in the search engine. I’m definitely not being shady it’s an opinion. I would love to see you with a 100k plaque because you invest so much money into products and to not be monetized I’m sure is upsetting. I know you want to focus on high end but try doing different types of videos and see what happens but I wouldn’t buy another product until you get the proper lighting. I’ve checked out your channel before so I’ve been observing. Last suggestion, the intro needs to go because the average person’s attention span is low and even though your intro isn’t long it’s too long in comparison to your competitors. I suggested similar ideas to Fumi desavold because she too was struggling with the number and she always welcomed my advice and I’m definitely not taking credit but once she diversified , 💥 She’s up in the 300k last time I checked. She does all types of videos, she shortened her intro, her husband got her lights on point and she’s doing marvelous. I say these things to help. Even the larger creators have diversified and makeup videos alone now aren’t going to work especially when the market is so over saturated with competitors. It has nothing to do with age because you can do it. I see the love you have for it but in life love sometimes isn’t always enough. Almost forgot, clear out you background. Fish tank and all. It’s distracting. Less is more. Best of luck!!
Thanks for the advice. Some things that you suggest that I really can’t do anything about. I’m actually friends with Fumi and she and I have very different lifestyles. I’m very happy for her success and it’s well deserved. The lighting thing… It has gotten better lol. I’ve also purchased a new camera recently and I’m not interested in diversifying. That’s just the truth. But like I said I appreciate your advice and some of these things I can certainly take into consideration. I’m also monetized now so I’m very happy about that.
