Have a 5.3 LTZ for 5 years now, the only things that have worn out from daily use are the Motor Mounts, the fuel system, and I need to get the stabilitrak looked at. I would recommend 9/10💯
Had mine for a few years now too. Just pushing 220k now. Only issue I had was also the motor mounts and the throttle position sensor went bad. That made my stabilitrac light to come on and the truck ran bad until I finally. Figured it out. Ran like new afterwards
...I'm with you Brother!!! ...I'm saving up to buy one cash right now. I have found quite a few well under 10k down here in Florida. Tahoe & Yukon are built to last even with higher miles on them these SUV's are good buys.
Pontiac Geek Me too, best looking generation by far, but much to be desired in performance & safety. I have an 03 XL Denali, in the 2000-06 GMT 800 series, which many GM truck enthusiasts seem to believe to be the best overall in terms of the most things GM "got right." I tend to agree, with the coil-over front suspension, rack & pinion steering, and electric cooling fans being the only upgrades on the 07-14 GMT 900 I wish I had. The biggest faults of the GMT 900, are the flat, uncomfortable seats, premature rust, paint quality, body hardware, and junk, oil-burning 5.3 V8s from 07-09. Lastly, the trend of giant 18-24" factory wheels completely destroyed the plush ride quality of these trucks, even with the Magnetic Ride Control systems in place. It may not look as cool, but the 16" & 17" wheels & tires provide the best ride, wet weather/snow traction, last longer & cost less to replace. Just my $.02.
12 years with mine so far so good no complains
200k miles with no problems kept outside in Pennsylvania weather. I load up the back for business deliveries weekly and also tow ATVs.
Do you have any problem with cracked dashboard? Mines just cracked and dealer want me to pay $1500 which I refuse it to pay.
Hi yes I do but I just put a dashboard covered on in same color looks good That truck has 175000 miles and still runs good
@@Wolfgangersen I have a cracked dashboard and they’re asking $800 for it, a bit pricey for a dashboard don’t you think? I might go with a cover

@@blaqlionking6978 Duude have you bought one yet? Looking at this too in Florida.
That bull. I get 14.5 in the city. With the windows down!!!
Put the windows back up, lowering them hurts aerodynamics and mpg more than air conditioning does
My moms gets 8 mpg 🤣
I’ve got one it’s the best
It's attractive enough, but it rides like a M923. Give me one from the 90s.
i like the 1995-99 tahoes better

What y’all think about the 2022 ?
@@sarahuerta222 Hate it. Ugly and too much electronics. Now I'm saving up for a 70's K5 Blazer which I'm gonna restore and make my daily driver.
if i wanted to see if use r true to ur we ord bad credit np pow payment i lp ike to have that like now
My coworker has one of these. Already has had to have the transmission rebuilt at under 100k miles plus the instrument cluster has gone dark. Junk.
Hmm mines at 277k still driving like new
