But they should really work on the design more...making it look more like a facemask would work since it would be really customizable then and bane's mask seems like a banger idea from charlie.

    • @the_furry_inside_your_walls639

Throat mics are already a thing. You can basically whisper and still come through. This could also work with a more normal face mask with a mic in it, to let you talk with some privacy, maybe you couldn't shout into it and expect privacy but the cloth itself would muffle you a bit for normal speaking volume.

I do not like to be heard when I'm gaming or recording it affects the way that I talk and triggers my anxiety to know that they can hear me. that cat is the only person who knows that the underlying technology that this goof-ass face mask is using was invented in the 1940s so that courtroom stenographers can make court transcripts easier, faster, and better. it's a cursed knowledge that burdens his tired little body and mind.

I’m very hard of hearing and basically shout in every situation because I don’t realise how loud I’m being, I just feel like I’m talking normally when I’m screaming in the middle of a McDonald’s , so this would actually be really good for me, for any other normal human tho I don’t see much point

Ok, I know it’s is dumb, but as a person that lives in a house with other people in close proximity that can’t go outside at night to talk for work, this thing seems mildly useful.
Edit: check out the stenographers mask folks. Credit to the immediate reply below me.

This one actually makes sense. It looks goofy but for someone who stays up all night and doesn't want to disturb other people while talking, it looks pretty useful

Agreed, although there are glaring issues with it, including the ones that Charlie mentioned. It looks incredibly stupid, its going to become a megacity of germs, and also it sits right below your nose, which I imagine will either be uncomfortable or will impair your normal breathing.

Honestly yea, it would be to embarrassing to use it out in public but playing games especially at night would,be really useful.
