Love this Sanne! I’ve also started trying breath work recently. My meditation wasn’t doing it anymore and I wasn’t able to switch off so easily, but breath work meditation seem to clear my mind and also enliven me! It’s really helping :). Love your content xx
I Loved this. Your Brain and Your Gut Health are all connected. That's one tip I wanted to share. Eating right and not drinking alcohol will keep your gut and brain happy. Really been working. Big Hugs.😊❤❤
You know, so many girls say laser is the way to go. It’s “painless and effective.” I wanted a more permanent way of removing my hair to save time so I went in for my first treatment starting with my under arms. It hurt so bad and the lady said it was on the lowest setting! I couldn’t believe the pain that girls sit through just to be hairless. After I finished my underarms I couldn’t go through with the rest of the procedure. So I’m back to shaving… But on another note, I have discovered that olive oil calms down really bad raiser bumps. :)
try pulsed light (IPL) instead of laser, I've been using it at home for years and I barely have any body hair growth left. It's completely painless, I promise. And trust me, my pain threshold is not that low 😄
The first time waxing down there was literal hell but, Lidocaine prior to going to wax helps a ton! And it gets wayyy less intense when the whole area is stretched taut. Sugaring also is way less intense + the follicles will get weaker overtime.
It's nice to have some girl talk sanne. Always feels like it's a best friend advising us. Love you. 💕stay safe and happy. Welcome to India someday dear.
Love this concept, thanks for the transparency! :) Especially the hair removal was interesting to me, would have assumed you social media peeps are all lasered and don't ever shave anymore :'D This video really showed that we are all human and have the same issues and "even" famous people don't get away from that :)
Within the first seconds of watching this video I thought "that girl's face looks familiar" and then I saw the transformation picture and connected the dots. I love this kind of videos! Very helpful♥
Thank you so much for the wonderful talk! I have to say, charcoal pills have really helped me to not get hungover. I take two before bed with a lot of water and I don’t end up with the yucky hangover in the morning. Because we’re bound to drink sometimes!
Always enjoy your videos Sanne! You are very calm, sincere and genuine. I love the Nanushka top paired with the jeans. Enjoyed topics you covered today! 💕
Thank you so much girls for sharing this video! It is so true that body and mind are connected. Watching you gives me a lot of positive energy! Thank you 💜
Hair removal is all about perspective really. Personally, with deeply rooted dark thick hair and pale skin, I found every type of laser hair removal traumatizing. The pain was deep, shocking, and lasting with diode, IPL, alexandrite, and ND YAG. Still, altogether I've done 3 years of laser. It was completely ineffective. The hair would slowly fall out over the course of a month, without a truly smooth period. I'm back to waxing. I've waxed since I was 14 and it feels like ripping velcro, the pain is almost nothing. I don't think brazillians hurt at all, it feels satisfying to have that hair gone. I wax my own face at least once a week and it's painless. With shaving, the moment I step out of the shower and the cold hair hits my skin - there's dark stubble almost a millimeter long so it seems like wasted effort. The reason laser didn't hurt you was because the laser's energy wasn't getting absorbed by your hair (too light and thin).
I have tried sugaring n hard wax for hair removal. The hard wax makes a world of difference in reducing pain as it grips the hair better. The pain depends on the technique n products. They also recommend not to do the waxing close to that time of the month to avoid heightened sensitivity.
i think there are also different types of laser. some are painful, some are not. i literally had my first laser yesterday. and it's almost painless (and my skin is very sensitive to hair removal). i did sugaring before, many times but I couldn't do it anymore, it hurts like hell for me
If u shave the hair strigs multiplies, fact, it's better to cut it. I used to have bikini wax the first time hurts a lot, BUT If u repet IT at 3 weeks it will almost be gone: the pain and hair. After 2-3 sessions i was hairless for 2 months. Constantcy in all!!
I found really that laser is really painful for bikini part. For legs wasn't so much. And waxing is so painful too. Im blood naturally and I think if you don't tolerate pain, it is better to avoid waxing.
I honestly don't even try to de-hair my bikini area. I get bumps, ingrowns and pimples during the growing and it's annoying, painfull and it doesn't look good. No matter what I do, it's always the same. That one day a year that I go to the beach I sometimes try to shave but often I clip the hairs short and call it a day.
I love this. First time I have watched someone talking about body hair. Very nice! Also I do Brazilian wax( all of it) every month for years. Yes it’s painful. But I never cried or traumatized and I’m a cry baby for pain. So it’s nice to hear what she said. Makes me feel like a hero lol
How you eat (slow-fast // mindful-with distraction // feeling stressed-taken a couple of deed breaths before taking the first bite) and what you are thinking about the food you’re eating also plays a bigggg role in how your body receives it & will process it 🤍
I love how you clarified what introverted is, Sanne. As a lifelong introvert, it's always nice to hear other people realizing how much they enjoy their alone time. :) Also, I enjoyed how you talked about drinking. I didn't drink in my teens/early 20s, but I now drink in moderation - I think a lot of us need a night out once in a while where we go dancing or see where the night takes us. As for body hair removal, I just shave. If someone were to give me a laser hair removal treatment as a gift, I'd do it, but I would never do waxing (Tried it once for my legs and never again! haha).
That was so much fun 😍 And let me tell you something that when I don’t feel motivated; Watch your videos with my cup of coffee or tea 😍 By the way maybe you’ll consider to change the name from coffee talk to matcha talk 🍵 🙃
This is so helpful video. Really love this video, all the advice are so helpful and it feels so good after listening you Sanne! I'm so so much in love with the background. It is so beautiful.💗💗💗😘😘😊😊
I actually really enjoyed every topic covered! The questions asked were the ones I also had questions about, felt like friends just sitting around and conversing. Thank you ladies ♥️
Brazilian wax is a btch the first 4-5times (especially if you shaved for years before your first time). I was screaming and crying the first few sessions lol but now I have been having it done almost every month for 5years and now I barely even feel anything (mostly the heat actually) and im contemplating doing laser but I have like "bald patches" down there from years of waxing and just in general its very weak and thin hairs. Sorry for TMI😂
No hate but the thing about lasering not being painful is not true. You have different kinds of lasers, one where the hair follicle gets shocked (not painful) and one where it gets burned (very painful). I always used to wax which I didn't find painful but lasering is the most painful thing I ever experienced, not a joke!
I think you probably saw someone who maybe wasn't as skilled.. because I've seen multiple people and it really really depends on who your specialist is and how skilled they are. Also sugaring is better and hurts less. And its good to use numbing cream and take ibuprofen, I couldn't do it without the numbing cream. I am very sensitive to pain and use to always break out after a wax and never did full body but I found someone really good and do full body now
I wrote a comment talking about electrolysis hair removal and it was deleted, I guess it was because I added a link to my blog post. What I said is that electrolysis hair removal is the only proven method of definitive epilation, I had an important hairy problem and I solved it with it more than 5 years ago, I have never epilated again. It works for face and body, all colours of hair and skin. There are numbing creams and there are even professionals who apply local injected anesthesia so that it is not painful. You can do your research about electrolysis hair removal and also write to me if you have any question.
I have been having a bikini wax for years now and I think it's down to everyone's personal pain threshold. I have had two children and to me waxing is nothing! I couldn't handle shaving in that area as it would become so itchy and uncomfortable. Now the bikini area has grown back thinner and there are patches that don't even grow back so I'm all for it ❤️
Really enjoyed this video. I wanted to share some information with all the ladies. I have a Brazilian waxing every month and as long as they use hard wax it is more tolerable and not as bad. Also, I do microplaning for my cheeks, chin, upper lip which makes your skin so much smoother and makeup looks better. A lot of people are afraid of doing it because they believe you might have more hair growth on your face but that has never happened to me.
@@SanneVloet try it...hard wax is better. I hardly felt it. The lady was extra gentle and would tell me...here we go which meant the hard wax coming off 🤣 It is cleaner feeling than just shaving.

Yes, it’s true, laser hair removal hurts like hell, even though I have a very high pain tolerance it was unbearable

I went to a wax hair removal place once, super painful experience and never went back! Laser is definitely the best solution out there.
