Something that makes parks with trees nice in the night. Find some lights in the park assets. There are some nice clean ones, with just one lamp. Put them under trees, really close. At night they light up trees from under, making the park look really nice. Loved the new park. Call it 40s. Why? Four T's. The four cool buildings.
A small suggestion. Link up all your industrial districts with an entirely separate cargo train link. Stops at farm area, oil area, ore area and it ends at the factory area with that station you already have and then goes out of the city.

Dude your fix my traffic episodes have really opened this game up for me. I started on the Xbox and had just about given up on this game due to traffic issues. Now that I am armed with your information I look at traffic issues as fun puzzles to solve. Keep sipping that tea and putting out content!
Park name: Pickwick Park. Pickwick is a tea brand and the name of one of Charles Dickens' characters. Pickwick's thing was that he travelled across England, so naming a park with a transport hub would be appropriate.
Biff mate, I think you need to put a bit more effort into making the monorail system into loops instead of all the offshoots where the vehicle needs to go back and forth onto the mainline after stopping at the station. Yeah is game and all but the system will run much more efficiently. Maybe with your new monorail hub that can be the connection between multiple loops joining the system together. Love your channel, cheers mate.
"Monotea Parkton Tower": mono rail, tea, park and is sort of Monty Python.. Also: - At the dead end near the festival area, it might be a little smoother and nicer to connect the road to the monorail station road instead of the double wouble spaghetti road that is going on right now.. - If you enter the monorail from the other side of the station in the oil sector, you can then continue it on more nicely to the railway station instead of having to many sideprongs, which lack some realism I think.
Pros filling in areas with trees: We need several types of trees in different clusters, and they need some variation in height Casuals filling in areas with trees: It's labelled "tree"
Monorail Park with Tea/ Biffism in the name... Mon-tea Square? Like Monty Python hahahah Also Thanks for the great video Biffa! Btw, would you hook up the monorail at the end of Mon-tea Square to the station at Fartea Grove?
Model T by Ford was NOT the first car as you mentioned at 23:40. The model T was built starting from 1908, Fords first cars were built from 1903, Benz was creating cars in the late 1880's.
Me at the beginning: I hope you don't build residential into farming soil! Me at the end: Where's the residential area? :-) The park has 4 towers, which is twice the amount of towers in the Lord of the Rings book. That makes 2 rings, which is the number of roundabouts you built in the park. I know it makes no sense, but name the park TALL-KIEN. 😂😂
Biffa seems to subconsciously be rebuilding part of downtown Seattle. It’s one of the few US cities with a monorail and has the Seattle space needle, which looks quite a bit like the observation tower. The monorail ends near the old worlds fair ground, which contains the space needle. Maybe also look for a music experience museum? It was built with heavy donations from one of the original founders of Microsoft
You need a residential area. A high-density residential area, as your city requires more workers (probably the area around the monorail, and maybe even adding some IT cluster so that it fits with the towers you put in and it just makes more sense to put a high-density area around a monorail hub like that
Hey Biffa, love the park! I think your detailing is fantastic. One small thing, there's no pedestrian access from outside the square-a-bout to inside the square-a-bout because the traffic manager mod turned off those pedestrian crossings when you set it up.
New to all this and following the teaville playlist and this is the first design choice I haven't liked. The custom buildings make it look like something I would do as a first time player messing around and throwing everything in. Thanks for all the hard work in the videos
I would love to see you do something with trolley busses. I know they’re not much different than the trams, but I think they’re cute and Id love to see how you’d utilize them!
Awesome, love the Monorail. Just put one down in my city, but hated the stock monorail cars... I found some "Disney Monorail" on the workshop which is absolutely gorgeous, so now using that (and modded it from 6 cars to 8, tho it's stock form is good enough too). Only disadvantage of the monorail is the noise tho, it's very bad. Even with trees it's often not enough. Thank god for office buildings. Really loving your series so far and only half-way thru. It's spec-Tea-cular !
I really enjoyed the new park area! Different kinds of trees and always the rocks, can't forget those. The design looks great with the monorail roundabout and the unique attractions!
Biffa, sending huge thank you your way. Watching out videos has inspired me to create my own channel. I find cities skylines so relaxing and your channel has been a huge inspiration! Sending good vibes to you and your fam.
Great Monorail park ! But please, please, please expand it to the lill' forest and the lake. And make it as a great leasure place to chill. 😀 (Not sure about my english this time 😅). At 20:50, is it possible that the monorail cross through this lovely big rock ? At 21:03, these trees are Bal cypress, Taxodium distichum. You can't plant these there, they absolutely need water !! 😬
The Model T was not the first car by Ford. However, it was one of the first mass produced cars that was priced low enough that the workers building it could afford to buy one. Also, as the saying goes, "available in any color, so long as it's black".
27 words&phrases + 8 rocks = 35 points 😆 At beginning you seemed conserve bout your word of choice (saying good, excellent instead of nice and fantastic), but the square-about and monorail escalated the points quickly
Bingo - about 30 I think (I tend to have vids on in the background as I do some other things). Naming of park - Probably done elsewhere in previous videos - given the tall towers/tower like structures, 'Full-Tea Towers' Park? (As a note, I rarely post, I tend to just lurk a lot, but love your vids. Main reason I ended up buying Cities:skylines, and the expansions)
I have played this game sins it came out on and off (gamer dad..) and always struggled with traffic.. learned from your vids and my latest city is running smooth so far (above 80% so far) even after the cargo train station!! (Always killed me prior). Lane markings are awesome! But industry DLC is causing some cash flow issues. Love the content dude. Please keep it up!
I think it looks a bit like a Jurrasic World park with the monorail and flora, is there any mods for model dinosaurs? And so to the name: Cre-Tea-ceous park?
My suggestion for Park name is ObserverTea Park given that there are two buildings at least in the park with observation decks. Biffa Bingo is a fun idea by the way, it could be more fun if there were tea pot topiary's in your city landscape to spot - Ronyx69 has a pack of boxwood topiary plants on the workshop that I believe there's one in.
12:00 Suggestion: Use TM:PE and make the inner road to the hub be transit-only. Then other traffic will still use the roundabout function, and the busses get priority.
i think you should make the lake/ pond a big bigger and make it another focal point of the area. Also to block the sound, but also for aesthetic reasons you should surround the residential area with trees so that the block the view/ sound of the industry area.
Always wondered if there were any real life locations decorated like Biffa likes to do with big boulders and flowerbeds. Found one today: Frederiksplein, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Looks so much like a Biffa park it's ridiculous
I like the height of the monorail station that comes into the festival area, and I noticed that the other new one(by the rail end station) is lower so I thought that the station at the Festival grounds could be the High Point/High End/High Grounds Station. There's some Star Trek TNG ref in the point and Some Star Wars ref in the grounds but I figure if you're attending the festival you're probably not feeling low or using the low station... Also I think High Grounds Festival Area has a rather nice ring to it as well.
Sideritis park. Sideritis is an herbal tea also known as ironwort (since its close to the mines) and mountain tea (bacause of all the rocks in the park)
A little correction on 23:55, model T was not the very first car, that honour belongs to the Daimler-Benz motorwagen of 1884. It's not even Ford's first car, that was the model A. It was however the first mass produced car which got it available to a much bigger audience than the other cars which were basically 6+-digit rich club exclusive. Just a bit of history ;)
Just seeing those Cypress trees in the middle of the futuro-park area is just weierd to me... being they are trees that grow around lakes/swampy areas in the Southeast US! Just an observation. Otherwise, as always, I love it!!!

For a city named teaport, it would be interesting to have a road layout in the shape of an actual tea pot. Or at least a tea cup
Nice idea... And then fill it up with some brown housing and brown decals.
Or an motorway intersection as this would be really cool
New map design anyone? Islands shaped like a tea pot pouring tea into a tea cup?

It's a monobout park now. Looks cool !
Tea & Toast Square, a quaint riverfront transport hub park only missing the surrounding neighborhood. Reserve your plot now and start planning the home of your dreams!
Maybe bike lanes in the new neighborhood you built??
