    This is an insane 32 inch WOLED gaming monitor with the dual mode feature (4k at 240HZ and 1080p at 480HZ). I love the quality of sound from the in-built speakers in this monitor.

    The biggest hook for me: It doesn't look like a gaming monitor.

    Awesome video 😎 any advice about gaming on an ultra wide gaming monitor? I’m only going to use the monitor for just gaming, but the games I’ll be playing is story based games and all type of games as well

      I’ll need to try this out! I’ve never really tested gaming on an ultrawide. This could be interesting!

    Nice video, im planning on buying this screen. But I can’t imagine myself working on a single monitor, I would like to combine it with a vertical monitor. What second monitor would you recommend?

    Refresh rate is a scam when it reaches such a number as 480Hz, The normal well-being human eyes can only see about best at 60Hz, but yeah for a gaming's smooth experience, I believe 144Hz or 160Hz would be more than enough. That's why I have decided to go for LG ultrawide 38" 3840x1600 at 144Hz which I think will be best for design and both gaming, what do you think?

    • @OgehEzeonu
      @OgehEzeonu  2 місяці тому +7

      Haha, a jump from 144hz to 240hz is quite noticeable in fps games and from 240hz to 480hz as well, when playing competitively. But I agree that 144hz or 160hz is more than enough especially if one isn’t playing competitively.
      Your choice for the LG ultrawide is excellent! I had that exact monitor for over 4years and loved it for design and gaming.

      It’s technically not about whether you actively perceive it or not. It’s about you drawing in frames before the person trying to kill you. All things being fair (say both players coming around the same corner) the person with the higher frames will see the person with the lower frames first.

      I've owned this monitor for 3 months now. There's a pretty clear difference between 240hz and 480hz. And it's with SCREEN TEARING. 480hz gaming is basically tear free without any need for Vsync. Hence making it a better gaming experience with no added input lag. The difference is subtle when you first start using the dual mode. But after a month straight of using 480hz mode exclusively, it's hard to go back to ~200fps gaming with the increased input lag and occasional choppiness. It's breaks my immersion and it's frankly distracting.
      1080p isn't fantastic and I'm excited to maybe try 1440p 480hz OLED soon
