Its not recommended as in natural pond there are so many other bacterias, which will hamper the ecosystem.

Its not required, you can leave the residues on the bottom it wont affect the culture

Is it possible to use sea salt in freshwater to increase hardness
Yes you can use fresh water as well as sea water. But there are pros and cons of it. If you use fresh water then you need to use artificial minerals as fresh water don't have much required minerals compared to sea water. Sea water with proper sterilization can be used for biofloc tank, if you don't the option for sea water, you can use sea salts in fresh water to raise the salinity

Hi. please tell how you determine the hardness of the water. is it with alkalinity test? then how hard is harmful. and how soft it should be after treatment. thanks.
You can use Water Hardness Test Kit to measure that and every fish and shrimp has different tolerate level to hardness, which can be found online

Hello sir in a tank of 8000 liter what should be the quantity of all the chemicals shown in this video and after the pre water treatment is done.... Then to make the water preparation for biofloc how much amount of molesses, prebiotic, seasalt should be added and what should be the normal level of pH, TDS, salinity should be left in the tank. Please advise.
