3:27:40 Hard agree. DM needs as few new cards as possible, for varieties sake & consistency, but at as strong as possible, either 2-3 OP effects or 3-4 decent effects. Search/summon all the existing spells/traps/monsters that are difficult to use to make them usable again(EoT, Sorcerer of Dark Magic, Magical Hats, Secrets, Magician Girls, Dark Sage, Rituals, even Thousand Knives, make them ALL viable or you never should have printed them). Otherwise give more protection, destruction/banish etc., specials, move cards from anywhere to the right location for situational effects, get negates going, give us some +1s. Overall I don’t see half this happening but atleast mirroring the BEWD upcoming deck, that atleast has some specials, searching, +1s. What I also would like, is to not just completely power creep/retrain/make existing cards useless, I’d prefer cards that are good by themselves but not just be a new OP field spell but be a card that searches Salvation AND gives it effects (cannot be destroyed or negated) for example.
Giving DM an altergeist/sky striker game plan seems like the ideal path. Tagging out at will, benefitting from spells and traps on field and in the yard*, messing with the opponent's targeting and combat math. If they don't want to print an Eternal Soul that is playable, giving DM a consistent way to shuffle things back into the deck seems like the best band-aid solution. If you look at it thematically: Blue Eyes support should focus on raw, overwhelming power; DM support should be about crafty use of open-ended synergy; and Red Eyes support should be about resilience and possibly stealing your opponent's tech for later. I also hope they try to make any Extra Deck stuff as limited as possible. Links are generic and will probably be need for true meta relevance, but I don't want to turn into a knock-off Cyberse deck and I don't want to be hemming and hawing over trying to balance theme and power in 15 cards. Keep DM focused on cool fusions. *Every time you were mentioning stat boost conditions in the Field Spell section I was just thinking "100 for each S&T in the yard" or "300 for each type (field, continuous, normal, etc)"

how tho, it's called Dark Magic Veil? lol surely thats DM. Im pre sure yugi uses it in Dark Side of Dimension, or it at least came in that booster pack.
@LOZA-DM sonhe does but there is an archtype of Spellcasters that 1500atk/Def and works much better with them. I remember first going on master duel and was gonna try and mix DM with it. If I find out what they are called I'll let you know.
Lol, what's people's obsession with s:p, i own 2 of the fuckers and only ever won using it once, in like a 100+ duels and that was a grind game against salad.

Dark magic veil belongs to another Spellcaster archetype, just can't remember what they are called. Think they are level 4 or something.
