I know you hate backseating... but... Dealing with anti form... Anti form can be cleared up if you use final form a bunch. Just go to a random world, go final form, and teleport to the world screen a few times. Enter world, go final form, goof off, exit through save point before drive runs out, and repeat. Final form drives anti form down, and warping out saves your drive. The developers put anti form in to punish players for abusing drive form power.
@@gabriellourenco2393 did you use them in boss battles, or event prompts, or the organization? Those had secret antiform multipliers. But if you barely used it as you say, you could just trigger it outside of the battle to reduce the odds.

I love the Lingering Will fight so much. The more you fight him, the more you find out his patterns but it is still really hard to win. Without the cheat way of course
I had a lot of fun watching this, I think I'm gonna subscribe. Maybe people have already told you by now, but with Second Chance and Once More, if you know you're going to be stuck in the air getting hit, don't use a recovery move! You can't die from a combo with them unless you either A) Recover or B) Touch the ground. Also, to avoid Anti-Form, use Final Form a few times to drop the Anti-Form chances to zero!
As heartbreaking as the stream was for you today, Dee, I have some news that would be encouraging for you: Since you've seen his DM(Desperation Move, common term for these KH super bosses), you've actually seen ALL of Lingering Will's attacks. Every last one. He has no more tricks up his sleeves to pull that you haven't seen. It's just a matter of surviving what you've learned he's capable of now.
This must be in the Kingdom Hearts II remix. I don't remember it being part of the original Kingom hearts II. If you want to know who the Lingering Will really is you need to play Kindom Hearts Birth by Sleep and then Kingom Hearts Dream Drop Distance before you play Kingdom Hearts III. It will explain a lot. It will also tell you what the Lingering Will meant by "You are not the one I chose." Aqua and Ven are introduced in Kingom Hearts Birth by Sleep. The time line is from the day Sora is born until he is 4 years old. You get to meet Sora briefly as a newly born heart and when he is 4. It will also explain why Roxas does not look like Sora. A Nobody, created from an empty shell of someone who had a very strong heart, usually looks like their human form. When a Heartless returns to human form, the Nobody that was created from the empty shell, disappears. When Sora returned to his human form, with the help of Kairi in Kingdom Hearts I, Roxas, his Nobody should have immediatley disappeared but didin't. That is also explained. Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance take place shortly after Kingom Heart II.
A tip when your commands auto scroll after being locked by lingering will jump multiple times and it will slow speed of auto select glide behind a rock and jump many times

Lingering will is often considered not only one of the hardest KH series bosses but one the hardest bosses in video game history and imo rightfully so if you want to beat it legit you need to be very good and also have perfect preparation... you CAN cheat him pretty easily and thats why lot of people say he is not that hard but we are not talking about cheap tactics we talk about beating him the honest way and with that he is definitely the hardest challenge in the whole KH series 😀
I always love watching someone beat a difficult boss after so many attempts, because it always reminds me of the time I spent on those bosses. I'm always reminded of the glorious feeling of victory, so I hope you enjoyed this game enough to do the others as well. Rip if you do BBS 100%
Lingering Will is one of the hardest - but fairest - superbosses in the series. Since Stickman Sham has been proving that MF has more counters than you might expect for an infamously 'unfair' superboss... I feel like the DF is far more of a pain to actually fight.

Hopefully helpful tip for Dee Bee and all who read this anti form has a unmarked and untracked point total in the game that determines the chance of you going into anti form it can be lowered by changing into final form. To do this easily simply go to Merlin's house and trance form to final form over and over and over going in and out of the door to his house and restoring your drive gage at the save point after a few times of doing this you should have little to no chance of seeing anti form again for a while. If you're wondering what increases you anti point it's changing in and out of any form that isn't final form.
Dee Bee Geek, the fact that you were able to get to the lingering will is in itself a sign of being good at playing Kingdom Hearts, but the lingering will is the hardest boss in Kingdom Hearts 2 final mix, and one of the hardest bosses in Kingdom Hearts in general. Beating the lingering will is not easy and will never be easy.
idk if he dont know or he just doesnt want to but reflect spell is your friend in all of these boss fights. DBG you can use curega even if your MP is 10%
I'd always pronounced it LÜX-ord, so I was surprised that others were surprised at that. Saïx throws me off, tho. Doesn't everyone else call him Sah-Eeks (kinda like Sykes) or is it just me? Those two dots over the I means it sounds like "ee", right? I'm from a spanish-speaking country so it just seemed natural...
When He died to Xemnas Part 2, and said, "WHAT! You gotta do it all over again!" I imagined Riku saying, "You Gotta do it all!" Like he says, "Your gonna lose it all"
Oh my gosh! You went to fight Lingering Will! I just started the video, but I can only tell it's going to drive you NUTS! Especially when I did caught some footage on your Twitch broadcast when you found Marluxia (and tried to exploit his counter reset when you learned it... which ended up costing you a lot). Your reaction to Lingering Will was hilarious! I loved it. Also... you unlocked FINAL FORM! When did you unlocked it! Did you have a video I can see your reaction to unlocking it? I remember when I went to fight the strongest secret boss of the KH series - I don't know if Mysterious Figure from BBS counts - aside from the KH3 ReMind secret boss. I prepped for EVERYTHING for that fight. Level 99, the best accessories I could get, all abilities unlocked, Elixirs, Mega Potions, Mega Ethers, etc..., with all my Drive Forms maxed out and maxed Drive gauge. I even watched videos to see what skills to look out for. I STILL got creamed as I'm not used to fighting like that in the game as I have a casual approach and this was on PROUD mode. I didn't even did Critical Mode or the level 1 Critical Mode. I died over and over again, with each failure getting used to the fight and doing better than the last. Eventually... I defeated him! I mostly just played keep away and hit him when I can and I was happy I beat him and got my Gold Crown for clearing it. One of the most satisfying experience I had with KH2... which cemented my love for KH2 even more. EDIT: Also, loved you used "Zombies Ate My Neighbors" sound effect at the end. Loved that game as a kid.
So from someone who has beaten all of this on critical mode, lemme give you some pointers; You seem to panic really quickly when under damage, dont panic, either quickly recover and air dodge away or use reflect. I do not see you using reflect much at all and it is your best friend when evading damage or when you know an attack is coming that you cant escape from, reflect can and will save you from seemingly certain doom. When a boss stops or delays you need to capitalize on that vulnerability and deal damage as soon as possible. Do not hesitate, be aggressive at any sign of weakness. Lastly some fail-safes for emergencies; if you need to transform to survive always always always go limit form. Then stay in limit form, if you take more damage in limit form and need to heal, dont revert, spam sonic blade (it should be auto placed on the circle shortcut button) only use sonic blade twice unless you take sufficient damage to regain lost mana, otherwise youll go into MP charge and you wont have a fail safe cure for when you revert. Also stop using cure early, only ever use cure at 1 hp, if you need to refill health for any other reason just use high potions.
You know if he played Birth by Sleep before this game he would understand why the secret hidden boss (lingering will) is so hard. So deebeegeek I implore you to play Birth by Sleep and play as Terra last to get the secret ending in that then play 358 days over 2 (358/2) then Dream Drop Distance it would answer plenty of questions you've had from the first and second game you skipped over chain of Memories but you watch the cutscenes so you do know the lore just trying to help you out as a friend. "Facing Kingdom Hearts Most Infamous Super Boss! Lingering Will" *cuts to Mysterious Figure from BBS* AM I A JOKE TO YOU!
Watching these live was amazing. I can't wait to watch you stream and beat Lingering Will. That will be a celebration
Nomura said that he put anti form in because he wanted the players to haveva secret powerful weapon at times.
It's the form I hate the most :)
Well I never abused my drive forms in anyway but when I needed the drives the most, I would get what? ANTIFORM. I barely used drives!
@@gabriellourenco2393 did you use them in boss battles, or event prompts, or the organization? Those had secret antiform multipliers. But if you barely used it as you say, you could just trigger it outside of the battle to reduce the odds.
@@DemiTrusdale3 O_o wait what? the boss battles have antiform what?? I-I-I I always saved my drives for the boss battles since those would be hard (I was a child at the time and English wasn't my native language so I didn't exactly read dialogues or text from the game). the boss battles were the reason I, more than anything else, was getting antiform full time?
oh my god....
if dee learned how to aerial recovery properly, he could tank hits from the bosses and be in time to heal or hit while blocking the last hit
You actually did really well on those data fights. A lot better than I thought you would considering other fights you’ve had where you had to retry a lot. Beating any data fight in a hand full of attempts is an amazing feat in and of itself.
I love the Lingering Will fight so much. The more you fight him, the more you find out his patterns but it is still really hard to win. Without the cheat way of course

Enjoy watching Dee suffer😊
I had a lot of fun watching this, I think I'm gonna subscribe. Maybe people have already told you by now, but with Second Chance and Once More, if you know you're going to be stuck in the air getting hit, don't use a recovery move! You can't die from a combo with them unless you either A) Recover or B) Touch the ground. Also, to avoid Anti-Form, use Final Form a few times to drop the Anti-Form chances to zero!
Power Ranger with a Keyblade, or, as the files call him, Lingering Will, or, as BloodyBizkitz knows him, Chad Thundercock.
As heartbreaking as the stream was for you today, Dee, I have some news that would be encouraging for you:
Since you've seen his DM(Desperation Move, common term for these KH super bosses), you've actually seen ALL of Lingering Will's attacks.
1:03:55 remember... Sora was just the delivery boy.
A tip when your commands auto scroll after being locked by lingering will jump multiple times and it will slow speed of auto select glide behind a rock and jump many times
"Kingdom Hearts most infamous boss"
*LAUGH IN KH3 SUPERBOSS*
The day he face yozora its gonna be awesome
Read the title and immediately had ptsd, the nightmares are going to return tonight i can feel it
Imagine in critical mode this boss
That power ranger
@@Umar092*if you played before. First time it's irrelevant
The lingering will is the hardest fight in all of kingdom hearts. Sephiroth ain’t nothing compared to this PTSD inducing monster.
Two words: Mysterious Figure.
KH3 has a far worse superboss..
LW is more fun to fight that Sephiroth. Big place, combos, stronger counter and damage...
Man I wish I could have seen you face Sephiroth in this game
It might be on Twitch
I’m glad you had fun fighting the data organization!!!
DBG: “I’ve got a silver crown, doesn’t that make me cool?”
LW: *Turns his keyblade into a hover bike to stunt on DBG*
DBG: “NOPE!”
I just loved the timing of that.
I am still working on the data battles, but it is satisfying when you beat them
I kept hoping that Marluxia would teach him that aerial recovery briefly makes you phase through attacks. A skill that really comes in handy against Lingering Will. 😭
gota love the axel fight. rushes up to you at the speed of sound, then screams "GET BAAACK!"
His reaction to his first death at the hands of Lingering Will remind me a lot of Etika's reaction to Sans
In case you ever replay KH2, watch the card behind Luxord instead of your Menu. They're far more steady.
Well, time to take a shot for each death 🍻. Remember watching this in the streams 😄.
Also, You're gonna need to analyze Lingering Will's moves to conquer it. Full Bloom+ works wonders &/or getting to the soft cap of the stats 😍
& congrats defeating the data bosses on Proud 👏
49:00
Redemption at its finest. You’re not a rookie anymore!
I left myself at silver crown, no goddamn shame at all, screw that fight
"he just run after you like a lunatic"
Xaldin: "I'm not saix...i don't run...i glide"
His reaction to seeing Terra is golden
spoiler with the name 🧐
BBS has been out for years, it shouldn't matter at this point
@@fantasyshroom9528 Doesn't matter how long it has been, you know he's playing the series, so don't spoil.
@@the_snakelicious Aqua and Ventus get name dropped in the cutscene before the fight anyways
@@fantasyshroom9528"yea but this irrelevant information gets revealed too"
Lingering Will is one of the hardest - but fairest - superbosses in the series. Since Stickman Sham has been proving that MF has more counters than you might expect for an infamously 'unfair' superboss... I feel like the DF is far more of a pain to actually fight.
The fact that you can beat this guy by just spamming midairs with fenrir and negative combo is rediculous.
Never worked for me for some reason, he always break through I don't know why 😕
@@darkerrex1442 same... I tried berserk and he broke out. Tried Final form spell spam and he broke out. Tried Anti Form and he cheesed me. The only way I beat him is fair and square...
@@darkerrex1442 you have to make sure that you have all of your air combo pluses taken off and steer him away from rocks because if he touches their hitboxes then he will break out
@@edgeofultima7483 Wait, Rock Hitboxes makes him break away?! No wonder i just basically do it at random direction
You got this. Its a learning game
10:50 Fun fact, after Luxord's time runs out there, he'll only do that one brief attack before standing in place. He'll repeat "Don't squander your time" over and over until you finish him.
DB did all this on proud mode right? Shout out to him I would've broken my TV during the Larxene fight
Roxas theme is one of the best soundtracks of the whole KH series
Agreed. It’s easily the second most memorable kingdom hearts theme for me.
It took me 3 god damn years to beat lingering will cause of rage quit
I just beat this guy last week, Good luck !
Lol when your timer was gonna run out on Demyx when you beat him I just yelled out WISDOM FORM!!!!!!!! Lol
idk if he dont know or he just doesnt want to but reflect spell is your friend in all of these boss fights. DBG you can use curega even if your MP is 10%
also im just looking at this axel fight lol
Watching someone struggle on lingering will is always amusing to me, good luck i hope you best him soon
Remember how everyone was surprised the Lux in Luxords name was pronounced like Luke instead of Luck because it was Latin for light? No? Just me?
I'd always pronounced it LÜX-ord, so I was surprised that others were surprised at that.
Saïx throws me off, tho. Doesn't everyone else call him Sah-Eeks (kinda like Sykes) or is it just me? Those two dots over the I means it sounds like "ee", right? I'm from a spanish-speaking country so it just seemed natural...
You beat Sephiroth. Neat.
You beat KH2. Cool.
You beat the XIII Data Battles. Nice.
*Lingering Will appears*
RUN AWAY FOR GOOD!
Oh boy wait until you learn about what the Lingering Will is and how it’s connected to the previous games.
Yep plus I doubt LW is the only one that is tough to beat
That’s kingdom hearts for you. You get to think you are good but then the games goes GUESS AGAIN FOOL!
Mysterious figure was a KH2 style fight in KH1. Lingering Will is a KH3 style fight in KH2.
Wonder what that means for KH3's hardest boss...
@@silverrath ... Ohboy. We can't really discuss it here. But ohboy...
@@c0mpu73rguylingering will? A kh3 fight, made for kh2??? That's the most inaccurate thing i read. He's made for the right game.
@@TimothyGod With its extremely fast pace, (very) long distance attacks and gigantic fight zone? I don’t know many KH2 fights quite like that one.
@@c0mpu73rguy right, but kh2 isn't like that at all, even less so. So how is he a kh3 boss? Kh2 bosses are much faster to begin with
It’s interesting to see these fights with that long health bar. Too much time on critical mode lol
Lingering Will power ! Ah, this hurts so much when you know what happen it Birth By Sleep... Still my favorite game out of the bunch
When He died to Xemnas Part 2, and said, "WHAT! You gotta do it all over again!" I imagined Riku saying, "You Gotta do it all!" Like he says, "Your gonna lose it all"
That first death and walk away on LW was what I was expecting 🤣
You're all caught up on your edits! Yayyy!! 😁😉👍
Dude lingering will and vergil in dmc 3 dmd mode were some of the hardest bosses ive ever played
Good old lingering william
lol I still have a Xigbar PTSD until this day, Even after kingdom hearts 3..
Wait for the Mysterious Figure in BBS..
So from someone who has beaten all of this on critical mode, lemme give you some pointers;
You seem to panic really quickly when under damage, dont panic, either quickly recover and air dodge away or use reflect.
At least do these games before you start Kingdom Hearts 3
Noooooooo he's just gonna stop and not understand anything 😂
You have surpassed me completely. I really want to go back and play kh2 now and get EVERYTHING
Oh I remember my first bout against Lingering Will, good times
