For me, what started as a mild injury “bloomed” into a heightened all over body sensitivity to pain. Normal body sensations no longer appeared as natural but as a threat, which turned on the fear cycle for me. I did not know what was happening to me, I felt almost crazy! Thanks to TMS education and Dan I have learned to turn down the volume. Dan’s daily reminder videos and especially the success stories have been essential.

@PainFreeYou I want to also mention how helpful your videos have been for me to learn calm reassurance and indifference to symptoms! I appreciate the brevity of the videos and straightforward teaching as well as the loving encouragement. You always focus on what I would consider are the keys to recovery ie: developing new neural pathways, beginning with key numero uno: Do the assessments and convince the brain that the pain or symptoms are 100% rooted in "perceived danger". Letting go of the constant thoughts and questions tracking whether it was this or that which triggered,, etc. And the 2nd most important key (for me) is responding with indifference to symptoms with calm reassurance. So this allergy season has been chalk full of sneezes followed by me saying, "I'm OK, it's no big deal, just a sneeze." (My dog frantically runs towards me every time I sneeze LOL so I'm also reassuring him!) Thanks Dan! You're a gem!

What an amazing story to see posted when i was losing hope and awaiting admission for my inability to gain weight due to severe abdomen pain and issues from also having nCS, Pots, TOS suspected MaLS and deotriating autonomic dysfunction and EDS and a whole domino chain of issues that have led me to this constant work in hopes for healing. I am goibg to have TOs surgery but am terrified as not sure if the TOS or the msucle wasting from pots amd pain amd inactivity is what is causing the TOS . Ot if the compressions is what cauzed Pots etc has been a merry go round stuck in flight or fight from irritations to the sympathetic nerve bundles. I have been stuck between not wanting to die but not wanting to live like this any more. Noone wanted to do NCS surgery in Australia and cant afford to go elsewhere and due to being so complex and underweight surgery seems way to risky. This is the success recovery ive been waiting for but would love to know more about how the surgeries helped you so you could continue to do this work . As of now i havnt had any surgeries for rhe compressions and also PT doesnt work so far for me. From 20yrs old to now 40yrs old its been a living hell. Im just so confused still as i have such bad blood pooling and acysrcoyonsis and unsure if i need compression surgeries to allow healing to take place since TMs cant "fix" such internal structural issues that due to nerve compressions and intwined scar tissue and fibrosis on nerves and organs causing this loonng journey through hell.

Humans go to researching everything, trying to learn everything about our body, because knowledge is power, and helps us feel in control or try to figure this out.
But God created our body to heal itself. By prayers.
Which is basically talking to Him and talking to our own brain. Our cells repair, when we are closer to the Father and love our own body.

@PainFreeYou so it's like those people that healed from whatever disease or even cancer really portrayed a safety brain , their nervous system got back to normal and little by little healed. Makes sense! Can't beleive some doctors still down know this and just call it miracle smh. Alot to learn 💯 fascinating stuff!

@@PainFreeYou Dan, I've just had a revelation. My initial problem was long covid, very cfs-like, low immunity and mcas. Back in the end of February this year, I read The Mindbody Prescription and I was cured for 2 months. That is until I got covid again and while it's not as bad as it was before, I had an unpleasant summer and it seems I can't kick out this infection, and get re-infected continually. I then kind-of stopped doing the mindbody work. But, my revelation of the day is that I will continue to insist on it, despite being in infection. This is the solution and it will work! I have the proof it works and I have the proof nothing else works too. Thank you!

So how did her veins heal? I’ve been told that vascular issues are not TMS. I’m so confused.
Dan told me that if I legitimately have vascular issues and blood pooling, that it’s not TMS. So how did this person heal when she also had vascular issues?
She also says in this video that this will work unless you have a structural issue…EDS and vascular issues are literally structural issues. I don’t understand how people are healing from this stuff. The only conclusion I can come to is that they were misdiagnosed and didn’t actually have structural issues.

She was on oxygen, a feeding tube and about to be put on hospice to die. Misdiagnosed? Not at all. But she did heal all of it. Follow her on Instagram. instagram.com/heartsong_renewed/
Vascular issues are not TMS as classically defined. But as I am learning by this success story, they can be caused by a disregulated nervous system and can heal. Labeling them TMS or not is irrelevant. The body can heal when the brain is not terrified and the nervous system returns to balance. I did not believe this was possible either, but I am still learning and have learned about what is possible by this incredible lady. My apology for the previous statements about vascular issues.

    • @IndialienJones
      @IndialienJones 8 днів тому +2

@@PainFreeYou I apologize if what I said was insensitive. I understand how bad off she was. I just wonder how much of what she was told she was dealing with was actually verified or if it was misdiagnosed.
Did she have duplex ultrasounds showing that her veins were dilated and had blood pooling? Did she have varicose veins and venous insufficiency? Or was she just told that she had some sort of vascular issue based on her symptoms?
I sure hope that veins and vascular issues can be healed because the mainstream medical world has absolutely nothing to offer and the last glimmer of hope I had was healing through a TMS mind body approach. Once that was taken away, all hope went out the window and depression and hopelessness has sunk in.

@@IndialienJones I have asked Angie to jump in here with her thoughts. Mine is now that we don't heal vascular issues directly with a mindbody approach. We get the nervous system into balance with a mindbody approach and the body heals itself. This is evident by her recovery. Angie - I hope I am stating this correctly.

In Dr afrins book he talks about the connection between mast cells and cardiovascular issues. We know mast cells become over-active in response to threat. When our body is operating from a place of fight/flight/fear our mast cells perceive threat and respond, leading to multiple symptoms and conditions. So our job is just to move from fear to trust and acceptance and into that rest/digest/repair mode of the nervous system. Then the body heals itself. We are giving our body the best circumstances to heal AND reduce the need to create pain and symptoms.

There are many practices that are part of any good nervous system healing program. I have several on my Instagram, and there are a few excellent books on healing the vagus nerve as well as the entire nervous system. You can do a search here on UA-cam as well. The key is to not give up when you don't see results after one time or even a few times. Patience and consistency is key. 😊

@@PainFreeYou Thank you, Dan. I have been pouring my heart and soul into that account, filling it with as much free information as I can possibly put out while still healing myself, homeschooling three kids, cooking from scratch, homesteading, helping out in Luanne's program, teaching somatic workshops, doing one on one mentorship, interviews, and creating content for the Patreon. I just started the subscription option a few days ago for people who wanted to have the opportunity to ask me questions in a live video setting. I created it as the most affordable option for people who can't join my Patreon but still want to get their questions answered, as I answer as many questions in my comments and DM's as possible, but I can't physically answer them all. So it's very hurtful when someone accuses me like that, especially without knowing the facts. And I hate that new, made-up, entitled term "pay wall." Do they tell the grocery store their products are behind a pay wall? 😂 I'm going to use that on my dentist next time. "Hey, this should be free. You're hiding your services behind a pay wall." 😂

@@AngelaHepp Can you explain how nervous system work healed your instability and pain, particularly neck instability? And did you have cranial pressure/facial pain? Once the body achieves homeostasis, do the muscles relax/let go, thereby letting the joints/bones fall where they are meant to be? And does the tension/pain go away?
I have some hypermobility but not EDS or MCAS. My neck vertebrae won’t stay in (CCI) and I have cranial misalignments (lack of csf and blood flow) as well as pelvic misalignments. All of my pain started after injuries. Have tried multiple upper cervical chiros, PT…I’ve tried everything. Upper cervical just seems to make me worse. I have other issues too which I believe could be healed but this is the one thing Im struggling to believe can heal due to the structural nature of it.
