At the stream the sequence of these events were happening the other way around.
“Belt is shift and shift” actually is logical in a programming sense, you basically take the code that causes belt to be shift and execute it a second time in the same update.

That's not how it works in at all in the game though. Text logic isn't executed in succession, it's executed simultaneously

I just figured out how to call variables in my programs from within the program using the object that holds the entire program and its language, using external[“variable_name”]

Yes but it's not what was surprising. Two lines of "Baba is You" or "Rock is Push" don't do anything different than one. Two "Baba is Move" on the other hand...

@@parkerbench1843 [Eat] is an unused word in the game which is accessible in the unfinished level editor (or if it's not in the official level editor it's in a fan made level editor). [Eat] is an operator just like [is] and it allows an object to destroy an object of a certain type. Of course, "you eat rock" and "rock eat you" would not work since [you] is a verb. Also, I'm not gonna lie. I don't get the joke. Is he trying to say that the human eats baba because baba has a rock and the human eats rocks?

Belt IS Shift AND Shift does make sense in a programming sense, if you think of it as Belt IS Shift(2). Shift moves the object on it 1 space, so 2 shifts would move the object 2 spaces

im an apsolute fan of this game, i love these games that take puzzles and difficulty and add it together, and although i dont get it all the time, its still fun
baba is you basically took puzzle games and antichambers fuckery and combined the two
