AOT is unique. The way it uses violence and psychological/body horror, the way it sets up stories/arcs with side characters, the way it develops the main and supporting characters, the mythology behind it all being a mystery, the stakes, etc.,
I've watched a lot of anime, read a lot manga, and the only other story that is just as good to me, and does it *just* as well, is the anime this channel covered quite a bit: Naoki Urasawa's Monster.
I can watch AOT and Monster over and over. They are both so good. I'm not getting that vibe from Kaiju No. 8 yet.

first episode looked great I have high hopes for the rest of this series
All this is, is just Attack on Titan meets Pacific rim.........Count me in.
It has a lot of potential, but let's hype it up properly.
i havent watched the anime yet but its one of my favourites just because the main character is in 30's. it's refreshing.

because although there may be some similarities, they are totally different stories

The monsters have an AOT look and movement about them, but this is a little more lite hearted and the humour hits.

Watched it with my little brother this morning we both loved it. As someone who’s reading the manga it was amazing seeing the first few chapters animated. Overall a promising adaptation and easily in my top 10😋
P.S: when I saw the soldiers moving first thing that came 2 mind was Odm gear 😂
