You should read manga Of Kaiju no. 8, I'm Caught up with it.. there's some JJK shit is going on.. Comedy gets lesser and lesser after chapter 39 something.. (probably where where s1 will end).. One of the fewest manga that I'm caught up with..
I don't know, calling Kaiju no. 8 the next AOT might be a bit of a stretch. I'm enjoying the show so far, but comparing it to AOT is like comparing a rubber ducky to the moon. I haven't read the manga though, so it might end up being as good? Who knows
I 100% going in wasnt a fan of any of it, MC was very mild looking character designs appeared very cliche, But after first few episodes Im hooked far more than Ninja Kamui lol, That poor show… Takes lot of the best parts of lot of Anime and jumbles it all up into 1, Task Forces designated to taking down giant monsters like AoT, MC swallows and becomes one of very curse like creatures theyve sworn to destroy like JJK, And MC is incredibly OP and 1 Punches everything while whole show incorporates a lot of actually funny comedy like OPM, I couldnt ask for more from new Anime atm!!
