I would hazard a guess that it will be the Mercedes AMG One. I think that would fit well into the theme Lego is going for with this line. Perhaps in a dark red color or something of that nature. Plus that being a hybrid hypercar would allow them to start creating a semi-complex system before doing a full-blown electric car.
Aston Martin Valhalla would probably be my second guess.

I have noticed other patterns with these cars that may be entirely unrelated, but I find it interesting to say the least.
The most obvious thing is a link with the speed champions line:
2015: Porsche first appears in SC
    2016: 42056
2017: Bugatti first appears in SC
    2018: 42083
2020: Lamborghini first appears in SC
    2020 Summer: 42115
Last year, we received Koenigsegg and Toyota for the first time in Speed Champions, and a rumour from the channel Briq Foundation states that this year we could expect Lotus and Aston Martin to show up.
Secondly, look at the cars released in the car transporter scale. The first released was the Corvette, which was orange; just like the Porsche. Secondly, the Senna, which was blue, just like the Chiron. Then recently was the Mustang: Lime, just like the Sián.
Which leaves the FE Porsche, which is primarily white. Arguably one could also mention the Jeep, which was of course yellow.
With this information, I think there are several possibilities as to what this car could be. If the Speed Champions pattern is true, I think Koenigsegg or Aston Martin are most likely. As for the colours thing, white or yellow is most possible.
My final Predictions: a white Koenigsegg Jesko, or maybe the new one mentioned at 6:22 . It could also potentially be an Aston Martine Valkyrie or Valhalla, both of which (in my opinion) would look very cool in white.

Since you chose the electric car that might release, I wish that the fourth LEGO Technic super car would have control+. I would also choose the automatic brakes for the wheels whenever you stop the car. It could use the powered up medium motor to activate the brakes with linear clutches since the rotation sensor is not really necessary and it might fit perfectly. 4:14

I hope, and believe, that they will not motorize this series of models. They are primarily display-models. Adding motors and electronics bumps up the cost significantly and would only be used a very few times before being left sitting in shelves or display cases. Motors and control apps may have their appeal, but not in this series.

Besides, if you look at the way these cars are built, the chassis are pretty similar, the exterior is made by creating a separate front and rear, then using a bunch of pins to connect them
Oh and my money is on a koenigsegg

All of them are modelled after some of the fastest cars in existence, and usually there is a tie-in to the Speed Champions line either in the same year of release, or the year before it. So since Lego acquired and built (rather impressively) a Speed Champions version of the Koenigsegg Jesko last year, which is theorised to be potentially the fastest car that exists right now, my bets are on this.

The VW group seems legit, however I see it as a pro argument and not a must have feature since Lego has various brand licences.
We talk about supercar serie, which is mainly a well-sculptured, building-focused theme with primary functions and 1-2 interesting mechanism.
What I mean under primary function is a suspension (which can be upgraded with the new BMW spring element). I can imagine some major improvement here as well (adjustable suspension).
    Other is the fake engine.
The world tends to be more electric (first hybrids but pure electric cars as well). Lego has to follow the trend if they want to keep the brand for new, exciting hypercars. But implementing motors to this serie would dramaticaly increase the set price, unless the reduce the piece count. But as a decoration element (adults are the target group) propably not a key feature to make it playable. Solution: after fake combustion engine, a fake electric engine could be introduced.
The transmission is pretty much paired with combuston engines. After Sian, I have doubts in a huge step forward. With fake electric engines this problem would disappear since the transmission would be dramatically simplified (few speed gearbox instead of 7-8 speed).
On interesting mechanic side the Bugatti has the cool spoiler feature, the Sian has the door opening mechanism (the porsche has none, but it was the 1st of its kind). I would say this is a key criteria for a supercar so I think the next one will also have at least 1 of this unique solution.
One more aspect is worth to consider. The ultimate cars tends to be brand new, so old r8 and mclarens are not expected imo.
So what could be the next supercar?
Inferring from the above it depends on how the fake electric engine is ready. If it has advanced status, than the next car would be a hybrid, to test it. If it is under improvement or not exists at all, than combustion engine will appear again with a transmission.
With this logic the highest chance for the next supercar is a not yet revealed hypercar from VW group. If the car is already released and the fake electric engine theory is valid and its in developed status, then an AMG project 1, Porsche 919 or a Ferrari is concecivable imo. In a conservative scenario one of the Koenigsegg, Speedtail or maybe an AM Valkyre can be released.
And dont forget: Lego has the right to change their theme anytime they want (go to retro cars or legendary race cars for example).
I emphasize the fact that this is a theory. It is not proven.

With the release of the BMW bike this year I don't think they would release another UCS set from the same manufacturer... But it'd be cool to see a BMW in the future, I'd love to have an M1!

Some other subscribers of your channel already mentioned it. 1:8 scale Delorean DMC with functional gullwingdoors. An option to convert the set to the theee movie Version I-III. That would be amazing, awesome, marvelous, fantastic… ok, I am biased. Sorry for that. Keep up the good work. Stay safe. Stay healthy.

Not that I think that one of these will be the next technic car, but I would love to see the: Mazda Furai, Ferrari Laferrari, SSC North America Tuatara, Hennesey Performance Venom F5, Koenigsegg Jesko, Devel Sixteen, or Aston Martin Vulcan! I think that the Laferrari and Tuatara would have the biggest chance of these cars but probably non of these will be released :(

Because Lego Technic was a official sponsor of the Le Mans Virtual Series a LMP1 is not out of the question I think. Because the real Peugeot 9X8 is not completely finished yet, it also could be part of the delay of the Lego model.

If the tendence continues and the next model is associated to the VW Group maybe the next model could be the Rimac Nevera. In 2021 it was announced the addition of Rimac to Porsche AG (that menas also part of the VW Group), and part of the announcement was the fact that Rimac will be in charge and own Bugatti as a Brand. So Maybe a Rimac model could be a cool and new option.

I would be delighted if Lego releases a usb charger hub instead of using batteries and try to have a “port” next to external parts of the car in order to provide us a easy way to charge (similar of what you find in an authentic electric car) and, also, of course, develop a new Control+ for this car. I am a big fun of #BuWizz and Lego could follow them and learn (why not) in some aspects. What do you think?

    • @RacingBrick
      @RacingBrick  2 роки тому

BuWizz is not for the masses, LEGO would be easily able to produce something like that, they simply don't want to. They are still making stuff for kids so everything will be slow and safe.

    • @mauriciokrambek4456
      @mauriciokrambek4456 2 роки тому

@@RacingBrick I totally agree to have a design and “project” to be easy and slow. I think at least they could try to have a new USB port to charge a hub. But it is more likely to not have motors and use of Control+ app for this new supercar, following others supercars released.

NGL a Gemera would be really cool as that yellow interior with those bucket seats would fit very well in a Lego set
My main prediction ever since the Sian was announced (the Sian basically confirmed the VW group theory I had before lol) was the Bentley Bacalar since its official color was Yellow (different from the 3), is part of the VW Group, and has the cool factor of a unique design and a big front engine
My personal hopes are for a Golf R or an Audi RS3 but these ain't happening for sure since they are too uninteresting for the general public lol

I would like to see LEGO move to something more relatable. I bought the Porsche, but feel zero connection to the Bugatti or Sian because I've never even dreamed of affording those real cars. I would have bought a Lambo Huracan.
With that, I'd like to see them break the mold. They really failed making the Raptor a 2WD smaller scale. For the next supercar, I'd buy a Ford Bronco DR. Include some new a arms, shocks, wheels and wheel hubs and people will buy the set just to use pieces on their MOCs.
