    Realized I misspoke on a few things during that video. The scope is a Tract Toric 4-25x50, with the mil reticle. And I flubbed the chrono even though everyone is probably familiar with it, it's the Garmin Xero C1.

    Great video! I just got a .22 700 mm Panthera 2 weeks ago and have shot 2 Nrl22 matches with it. The first one went well and the second one not so well. Shooting Zan 33 grain .218 at 1016fps.

    UPDATE: it’s because I got a new phone and I would have to download that app again and like you said in the video you can’t anymore prohibiting you from launching it.. but my iPad has the app and it launches just fine..

    You know just going through that impressive gear list you put together Warren I got to thinking that you might have your buddy their beat in competition being number one and all but I think he might have you beat in a gear perspective, shoot I’m surprised with the amount of money he spends on his gear he doesn’t have a kestrol 5700 elite the ultimate flex! as a PRS competitor! Haha or I guess you could just ask a fellow marksman for wind speeds etc at that particular location..

    • @airshootist
      @airshootist  6 місяців тому +1

      Oh he definitely has me beat in gear. Like I said I am kind of a minimalist.... but I keep accumulating more and more stuff to help me. Any way you cut it, our training program is WORKING! :)

    I’m in Northern Indiana. Just bought a Panthera and plan on competing this year with it. I typically shoot Benchrest, field Target, and speed silhouette. I want to get into PRS style shooting but don’t know a lot about. I don’t see much info out there on rules. I would like to pick your brain if possible. I’m in the midst of building some sort of range on my property but it really don’t know where to start. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Keep up the good work. Jon.

    What slugs have you switched to since they've changed the rules and made the minimum grain weight 32 grains?

    • @airshootist
      @airshootist  13 днів тому

      That rule is not enforced and is based on nothing. I talked to Jeremy about it. It will likely be removed. No reason for it to be in place at all.

    • @CopperStarPrecision
      @CopperStarPrecision 13 днів тому

      @@airshootist I imagine the idea was to get to a minimum level of energy so that impacts can be seen by the spotters, but I agree that a specific grain weight minimum doesn't make sense.
      Interestingly enough, PRS rimfire airgun dictates a max grain weight for pellets/slugs of 49 grains in 22 or 25 caliber and a max of 50 grains pellets only for 30 caliber.

    why 600mm barrel??

    • @zer0dev
      @zer0dev 6 місяців тому +1

      Primary reason for me is to keep the gun short. It's easier to get in and out of barricades like the ladder, a-frame, and chair. Less chance of whacking the end of the barrel on something.

    • @airshootist
      @airshootist  6 місяців тому +1

    • @Manavis36

      @@zer0dev and whu not 500 if you want to keep the gun short?

    • @zer0dev
      @zer0dev 6 місяців тому +1

      @@Manavis36 At 500 you're sacrificing too much on the power. I think it's something like 10% speed decrease for same settings. Gun becomes too violent at that point and shot count would be useless.
      Additionally the Panthera 500 has the small plenum, so even less power.
