the demonstration you missed here is that how strong the spot weld we get through this technik, its very important as for as i think, cause if we don't get strong welding joint then its jut wasting of time and resources, however i appreciate your your arrangements to demonstrate the idea. keep it up
And you are correct in "respecting" capacitors. Especially larger ones. Of course we can dream up endless ways of utilizing the immense power of electricity. Especially when we have to pay for it. And perhaps making your own welder from parts cheaper than buying a Lincoln or even something from Habor Freight. However life is precious. I'll keep using my welder designed and constructed for SAFETY and reliability.
Young man the way you hooked up the power through the drill press is wrong. By doing the Electrical connections the way you did, you take a big chance of burning the copper windings out and also damaging Bearings and any smooth machine surfaces. You should hook all the Electrical as close to weld as possible, avoiding damage to Copper Motor Windings an Machine Surfaces. Just an opinion. Thanks for the upload young man.
Some people don't seem to understand voltage and ohms resistance. A human body is not as conductive as copper wire. A lot of resistance in soft fleshy things. 12v can't cause ionisation in a human body. 220v can cause ionisation and once that happens a small amperage will kill you because your body is now a conductor of electricity. Also this isn't a mig or tig welder. The energy is stored temporarily in capacitors and discharged to perform a single spot weld. That's why 20amp cables aren't being used.
The idea is good , however, discharging big caps to spot weld may not last long (100 times). You are missing a key component on your set up, you should put a resistor across your positive and negative poles. This way you will preserve the integrity of your capacitors much longer. Without a resistor, the caps have a very short life expectancy. Also, increase the size of your wires to gauge 10 at least
So you are wired a 1000 Amps welding machine together using something like 10 Amps rated wire? Did I get it right? I think you are just lucky that the pulse is too short to melt those wires otherwise you'd have a lot of molten metal in your eyes. Either way the resistive losses in those wires are very high reducing the efficiency of your welder. You need much much thicker wires (bus bars?) to connect those capacitors together. Then you'll pehaps need fewer capacitors to do the same job.
great work son, question is, does the drill stand has a motor on it, if so, does it get disturbed then, or short out, or there is't one on it, marveles work loll, keep it up do more

This process is more of a risk than its benefits. Short shackles work for the capacitors. This is the biggest mistake. It is correct to use a transformer and adjust the output to give a small volt with high amir.

Nice bro... Continue good work.. ❤
Dude, your transistor for a soldering iron works great. Can't believe i never thought of it. Thanks
Crazy invention, you have to love smaller things like this. No posh tools, just electrical tape and bare wire :)
Very good idea
Very good
Good, thanks you
REALLY STRONG SOLDERING!! WELL DONE!! :)
Thanks

Are you crazy bro!!! is so so dangerus !!
Realy ? I love electronics technology
Big electric discharge. 😁🥰❤❤❤
Mantep lor. Aku pernah buka elco segede gelas malah isinya pasir 😁😁😁 inti elconya segedejempol saja
I dont know, but as a industrial electrician I fear those big capacitors, my respect to this genius. 😉

The best😊
Muy bueno estos videos se aprende

OK VERY GOOD. YOU HELP ME
Wowww..is good idea..but so dangerous.
Nice video for project

Excellent Mr.Electron.
Ja das kommt gut
it's very dangerous to work like that without electrical protection sir God bless you.
Nem vékony az a kàbel100 amperhez? ?
Amazing...😮
Waaaooowww....
Amazing...
Bro awesome trick but very risky one,a small mistake can finish it all in 💥💥💥
1000amps how powerful it might be😳🤙🔥
Fantastic

Hello from Turkey 🇹🇷
Good video
Wow that has to be one of the most dangerous things I have ever seen on UA-cam! This kid either has a massive set of gonads or no fear of death.
My thoughts entirely.

It has the motor , but since the machine is not running , it's not affected.
Awesome 🔥
You are going to weld the bearings in your drill press. Never weld trough bearings!
When's the most powerful electric chair video coming out?
Let’s use some big capacitors. Looks like a good way to knock yourself into next week.
Amazing..

CM's high-speed WiFi router developer Yosuke Inoue: Yosuke Inoue:与助井上 can laugh.
You need thicker wires to compensate for high amperages..
Which battery you are using ?

Where did you get those big caps?
Every thing has it's pro's & cons .... Use with extreme caution. Like the idea . Maybe I can use it on my electric fence.....
Your electric fence would kill anything that touched it!
@@alexrXX very good don't touch it ....

Your first set up may spot welding the drill ball bearing .
100% , apparently he got no clue about mechanism. ⚠️
Me gustó este vídeo muy interesante
good job. thank you
How is it you are alive? i have seen people missing arms messing around like that. One mishap and you know its all over !!!

the cables are too thin for 1000 amps. welding machines usually need thick cables.
Definitely
Guess my ex was a welding machine
Sort of. Remember they are not passing current for any appreciable amount of time.
It certainly won’t do them any good though.
Nice
Thank you for the information that is very useful for me.👍🙏
Capacitor Tank
Ok Take

you just put the same amps you welded with throught the ball bearings of your drill press...good luck using the drill press in future
What amperage do you have with these THIN WIRES ??? :)
Mantap bro
Your inventions has 200 year history. Congratulations with rating of this not professional video on UA-cam. Hope that noone died trying make the same.
Wowww...you can make electric Bomb with this.
Death trap!
When capacitor blows like granade.
WOW.. GENIUS, NOW TOUCH IT WITH YOUR BARE HAND
Xmmmm nice ;)
UA-cam: Hey Mr Electron how many ads dov you want in your video?
Mr Electron: Yes
Is it possible with diode
LOL, that looks like fun but I would not want anyone welding with that in my garage.
I like elektronik
Danger!
Hi.
What did you use betterry
Awesome
Tiny wires and 1kA go through them
Respect for them
you are good but use any two colour wire or make diagram. make clean work ,do not confuse your viewer. your knowledge is great.
.nice
Good work
Thanks for teaching all if us sir to build this on UA-cam
The secret is the hot glue

Sir I want 4 piece of neodymium magnet (cube) can u please help me?
Flimsy charge wires
